As most of you guy might know, medal of honor on the psx (i play it on the pc with bleem! since today) is not a game with a content of GOR and BLOOD. In my opinion its a shame http://www.pcgamers.net/ubb/frown.gif. Most ppl want BLOOD and GORE!!!
Games like KINGPIN®: Life Of Crime (the best game ever)and SOF got much GORE and BLOOD as content. Shooting men and not seeing any isn as fun as with the content, isnt it?

ALL SAY YES OR NO TO GORE AN BLOD make a petition and let em see to the makers of MOHAA!!!!!!!

My choice:

1) I want to see BLOOD.
2) I want too see GORE too.

Its more realistic if you ask me, k not too much blood but i want to see heads explode as its in real war, but with a plaing gun just a bit blood, also depends were u aimed at, WHAT U GUYS THINK????

Since this isn't a deathmatch or arena type of game which *promotes* blood and gore, I would prefer non-excessive use of b&g.

So Blood: yes Gore: yes.

ThulsaDoom 03-20-2001 05:17 AM

have you guys tried "Blade of Darkness " , thats got enough gore to go around

hey G!BB3D , how's Medel of honor running on bleem??

As one who's been studying WWII, specifically the US combat soldier's role in WWII, I think the realism should be stepped up as much as possible. Yes to the blood, yes to the gore...
If this game is to envelope us in realism as well as entertain us, then let's facilitate that violence. This is a WAR simulation afterall and war's not pretty. I have the feeling that the folks playing this game will be the one's looking for the most blood and gore - i.e., realism. If need be, why not incorporate a "low violence" install version as well as a "mature" version?? It's been done on other games.
Whatever the outcome, I'm looking forward to playing MOH:AA on my screamer of a PC. :-)

I don't own a Macintosh, by the way.

This game is going to awesome with or without blood in my opinion,. But I would like to see blood.

Recycled Spooge 04-19-2001 01:50 AM

Gore and blood are very nice!!!!! I hope they are like SoF.

@Maze: Ok, it musn't be as accurate as on my picture, but i don't want to see a tele tubbie game. I want to see Adolfs head exploding when I meet him http://www.pcgamers.net/ubb/wink.gif . Not that SciFi Wolfenstein....as close as it gets on reality.
You should see if u hit the head, the leg or the torso.

What could the smiley standig for, Cdom? Maybe for "dont take it serious"?

BTW: What do u think happens when u have been hit from short distance? A lill hole an a few blood drops?

If Flamthrowers attacked, the ennemy didn't die at the moment. They burned to death. Yperit attacks in WW1....a long and terrible death.
A Molotov-Firebomb hits your tank, u r pulling out burning.... I can imagine better deaths.....heart attack while I am f..kissing a 18 year old when I'm 80.

You can call me sick, I don't care. I like accurate war games....when this makes me to a sick man, wow, than u have never seen really sick men.

Although u got that really rude sig, u want me to be banned? Good God, I can't believe it!

My posting wasn't offensive to anyone, I don't understand your problem...

best regards

fenris

realism is inportant
i would like to see when targets are hit bare skin bares blood , neck , head , legs and arm s

when hit like mortor maybe a leg or arm blow apart and disappear

sorry for my bad english

05-30-2001 02:03 AM

Blood: yes
Gore: yes

BUT it should be realistic not like SOF that was pretty unrealistic- a 5.56 mg does not blow legs off.
Allied Assault should be the Saving Private Ryan of PC games.

fenris that is sick, quit it u sicko

Gen. Rommel 06-12-2001 02:48 AM

I wouldn't mind seeing blood and gore spill out onto the beach. I mean you see troops getting hit with shells and their body stays intact. But if there is no blood in the game that will not deter me from buying it. There should be an option where you could control the violence level like in SOF. That I think is the best way to go.

Gen. Rommel 06-12-2001 02:50 AM

By the way what did Fenris post that was bad? I was just wondering.

I think it used to be a person's head, but I'm not 100% sure.

BallisticWookie 06-12-2001 07:34 AM

Yeah, it was a persons head, or the remnants of what used to be a head, and it was bloody disgusting, ewwww

Xion 06-14-2001 10:51 AM

how about we just design a game that has a pool of blood in the center of the room and you can shoot that?

I have played several games that didnt contain gore, that were very addicting and fun to play. For instance, Tetris.

Im not saying games should or should not contain gore...but that to try thinking outside of the box...blood and gore is not everything in a game...

Wolfshook 06-20-2001 11:07 PM

Blood...gore...who cares? I want the game to be a realistic simulation of ww2 infantry combat, with realistic weapons, sounds, and graphics (but I rate graphics as the last thing I worry about).

The immersion factor is what I am in it for. Does it make you travel back in time...and...will it make you feel as if your really there. You know that's the Holy Grail of gaming...when it makes you forget where your at, and actually physically and emotionally respond to the game.

I don't care about blood and gore, and quite frankly, unless you blow somebody's leg off with mortars, artillery, grenades, etc., you wouldn't see much blood anyway. Sure, if you fill the poor guy full of a 250 round MG42 belt, your going to see all of his blood spill to the ground. But, why is this a big deal??

I personally don't care...blood and gore don't necessarily mean total immersion for me. Maybe if I was playing a serial killer simulation...then maybe I'd want blood and gore.

Just give me tons of uniforms, weapons, sounds, etc. and a ww2 sim. I'll be happy with no blood at all.

DesGamer, r u the same DesGamer that posts on the VE forum? Cuz everytime, every single time something about MoHAA comes up as news the comments from everybody will be overwhelmingly positive except a guy named DesGamer will say something like

quote:
This game will feature no blood!!! Don't get too excited!!!

Did you get fired by 2015/EA or something?

BallisticWookie 06-21-2001 03:00 AM

Well if anyone is still going on about this lame ass shit topic, they really need to get over it, it's been debated to hell and back, and I'm sick of it.

quote:
snip..It feels stupid! I do not plan to buy this game for that purpose and I don't have any problem saying that..snip

Well your a moron, and I dont care if you choose not to buy this game, thats your loss, and I dont have a problem saying that.

Whoa...Ghost from the past. I thought this topic was long dead. But alas...I was wrong. Yeah..the first two MoH didn't have blood and the games still managed to become hits!
