Sega Purchased. . .
|
eek: oOo: eek:

Jedi sega was owned a long time ago. Xbox or Gamecube now own it. Why do u think their both coming out with sega created games. Their already making a sonic adventure 3 for gamecube and they made jet set radio future for xbox so basicly xbox and gamecube own sega.

The advertising also didn;t help, instead of showing in game graphics they showed u a dumb tornado or some kid in a barbers. oOo: There was rumors a couple of years ago that they had another system in development but financially they are in no position to put money towards R&D costs as well as marketing the machine in any kind of mass. Id also suspect support from 3rd party developers would be lacking cause of sega's last few flops. |
So basicly sega got blown away by sony and its ps2.

Blown away by bullshit and idiots believeing it. Sony is all talk and no action or all fart and no shite i guess. I remember the ps2 launch in america there was some fatass on tv in america thanking "the lord" her son got a ps2. eek: At that point i threw the remote at the tv. Sony is so ful of balls its amazing and people just lap it up. They conveniently had a supposed "ps2 shortage" for the american release, this was nothing more than a sad marketing tactic to spark a buying frenzy of drooling retards. Its been said before and it can be said again, for all sonys hype they have yet to produce even ONE game that couldn;t have been done on the dreamcast. Most ps2 games are crawling with crap blurry textures, aliased graphics and just look shit. From what vie read most games could be made in a far quicker time on the dream cast using less people. The ps2 has an ass backward coding system and is literally a pain in the ass to code for. Yet developers flock to it just to suck some ass. |
I agree gerard sega was the best until sony came along.

As for the merger, it all has to do with the downfall of Dreamcast. Dreamcast got killed by PS2, so they stop developing games for it. Now, they're phasing out the system. hake: |
so in a nutshell, SEGA is just a software house now, like it was to begin with. But it was a good run into the console market while it lasted.
|
...whoever said Mictrosoft and Nintendo bought it (Xbox and Gamecube) should realize that Sega does make games for PS2
They are third party developers, but now I think they won't make gamecube games naymore becuase of VERY WEAK SALE Seriouslly, Gamecube owners are EA fanboys and should understand Sega Sports titles are WAY better. |
