The most brutal war years

I think World War I is the most brutal war out of all the other war including World War 2 because they have to live in dirty trenches and they use chemical weapons the most, and the fact when soldiers get up and run toward the other trenches, they get mowed down by machine guns and that alone killed Milliions.... What do you guys think? freak:

[DAS REICH] Blitz 02-14-2003 02:33 PM

World War 2..

Civil War.

Innoxx 02-14-2003 02:57 PM

Heh heh...

Stand in a line with 200 other guys, point your muskets at the other 200 guys standing opposite to you, fire heated metal balls at eachother, the people nest to you get maimed by a skipping cannonball, eventually charge the enemy with your bayonets, get badly slashed in the arm by an officer's sabre, go to a field hospital, and get it CHOPPED OFF WITH NO MORPHINE, find out your stump got infected and die at the ripe old age of 24.

02-14-2003 03:50 PM

spam wars oOo:

Blitz-krieg 02-14-2003 03:55 PM

lol, ooo..... isn't the Vietnam War pretty brutal to cause of those Napalm bombs an they burn the flesh out of em even when they are still alive.. so brutal, while In WWI, those chemical attack blind ur eyes

Tripper 02-14-2003 04:02 PM

Mentally, I'd say definitely WW1. It must have been VERY depressing sitting on frontlines in Western France....It physically would have looked like Hell. Miles and miles of mud, years of dead bodies, rats, chemicals, unexploded shells, as far as the eyes can see.

I think the most painful, physically, would have been all wars pre-20th century.

pest 02-14-2003 04:40 PM

I would say WWI. Huddle in a cold wet trench, get the order to charge watch everyone get mowed down by machine gun and tangled in barbed wire or gassed. No relief because the enemy isnt leaving their trench, no medics. The next day the enemy does the same thing. Over the course of a year, the line moves maybe 300 yards, no real winner to the war. Civil war is right up there too.

02-14-2003 06:43 PM

All War's we're pretty Bad, Medieval Times, dying in the most painful way. Civial War, getting ur limps cut off because one bullet hit ur leg. WW1 beings gasses to death. WW2.... being gassed to death (If you're not white and Christan)

The most devestating times are yet to come, every phyco leader in the world is arms to the teeth with weapons of "mass distruction". A few of the Leaders arn't hesistant to give authority to fire a weapon. I fear that the world will be ended within the next 100 years. It would all start with Bush pissing Korea or Iraq off, them launching a nuke, us launching one back. When god put us here im sure he didnt intend for us to make weapons like that.

WW1 because of the first happeniongs of trech warfare and chlorine gas (I believe) very unexpected.

02-14-2003 11:54 PM

Well, Korea will probaly allie with Iraq, along with a bunch of Anitt-US Armies, and also Rebals from other Countrys. If a WAR with korea and Iraq break out. If it does? Who do you think will be on the "enemy side?"

The tartars are the mongols that stayed in western russia after the mongols invaded (at least thats what i remember from my Russia History Class)

Old Reliable 02-15-2003 12:47 AM

the tartars and mongols are pretty much the same thing, they totally destroyed Kiev which at the time was a very strong city. They also encamped around Moscow, making it their home for quite some time

Yes, they were also ridden with diasese, had a plague every couple of years, and were nailed to boards and floated out to sea as part of "decontamination."
