Anti War protestors piss me off
 

I'm a student and alot of the people at uni are against war on iraq.
They also don't know a damn thing about the war or about iraq. They are simply doing it because its 'cool' or their friends are doing it so they have to join in etc, I can sterotype them so easily.
The pictures shown in the newspaper have all these teenagers the 'new age hippies' with their guitars and dyed green hair. They get involved in the war because they like to think that they are politically aware etc. It pisses me off so much that they can be so fu*king dumb and mindless. Like a flock of sheep they rally with their banners through whitehall...
Media studies should be banned because it breeds retards. I had an argument with one girl who was stating all this BS about U.S troops killing thousands of innocents in Afghanistan. I asked her where she got all this information from, why wasn't it in the newspapers why wasn't it on T.V? Her reply was 'Stuff does get out you know.' and then she stormed off..

Saddam used WMD on his own people and he's gone against the U.N. thats enough reason to kick his ass imho.

Some people do it because they really believe in war as the last act of diplomacy. Others do it because it's stylish. Still others because they really are ignorant and don't know what the hell they are talking about and probably couldn't find N. Korea or Iraq on a world map. Just ignore them, but respect their perspective at the same time. They have a right to believe the way they wish. That's why many wars were fought. A tad ironic, no?

How bout those no count assholes that went to iraq to stop the war. Americans trying to stop americans from doing what must be done. If i were the president id find out who they are. Tell them this. If you like it over there so much then get used to it. Your no longer welcome in this country. I consider what their doin as being traitors to their country and should treated as such. Hopefully theyll be standin with the front line iraq troopes and we wont have to hear from them again .

You don't seem to understand the reasons why we are going to war. Saddam does have weapons he isn't allowed. He does have connections to terrorists, he does kill his own people mercilessly. You need to recognize these facts, don't just dismiss them.

Also, I am not sure how much they American "human shields" are gonna make a difference, because Saddam is already commanding his troups to quarter in residential areas, creating human shields already. This is a war crime, but Saddam doesn't care. Because he knows he's going to war and he's going to lose.

don't forget the weapon labs under hospitals, SAM sites next to mosques and schools, all that good stuff. i find it pretty sickening the UN will sit there and say "yeah, he's commited numerous war crimes" but do nothing about it. wtf was that milosovic guy captured for then?

if some stupid peace protestor wants to waste their money and time to go worship saddam in the streets of baghdad, then it's not such a big loss if a bomb or two go astray and cream them.

People make this sound like we would "going it alone" and thats such bullshit, because alone means just that alone hake: 16 out of 19 countries in Europe support us and many others around the world do also, we only need 9 of the members in the security counsel to support us. Oh by the way, we gave him some help about 20-25 years ago... hes gone through two wars, so most of what hes got hes done on his own.

Let's look at it this way.

The main expenditure for the war will be on logistics and since the war probably won't last as long as the Gulf because Saddam has less troops etc then it shouldn’t kill the U.S. It will probably last as long as the war in Afghanistan and that didn't cripple the U.S did it?
The U.S has a sh&t load of missiles with a shelf life of only 10 years or so. So blasting a few of those off isn’t going to make that much difference to the U.S taxpayer anyway because they have already been purchased. The weapons industry will need more ammunition etc that will create money won't it? Since the war probably won’t last that long the oil prices won’t spiral out of control for too long. When its all over we can probably strike a better bargain with the new iraqi puppet government over oil prices than we did with Saddam..

The U.K. can basically give a blank cheque to the USA because of all the miltary technology we get from you.

Imagine if Tony Blair told Bush to get stuffed. No more Stringray torpedoes, no more Submarine technology, no more trident missiles, no more Tomahawk's, no more Sidewinders etc..

This is the thing that people don't realise, if Tony didn't follow the U.S policy then it would cripple the alliance and both countries would suffer. The only two countries that give a damn and can actually do anything about policing the world is the U.K and the USA. Can you imagine what would happen if the world wasn't run by countries that supported freedom etc? Imagine if China was top dog...

Poland is one of americas best allies, they support going to war I believe but they don't like Bush. anyways, I don't see what war would accomplish, what harm is being done right now without war?
