I just tested the mod. Did you make it so you have to remove all other sound mods prior testing. I almost lost my ears when that field artillery fired = my sniper rifle. Pretty hard sounds?

it wasnt all that great. ive heard actual m1 garands firing and it didnt sound anything like that.

Sargent.. , I took it from Saving Private Ryan... Maybe the sound is high ..
Could be , test all others and if you see they're all very high , I'll fine tune it ...

Just say the word..
But remember , the Springfield has a very hard and loud sound..
Take this into account .. and of course , you must remove all sounds mod except the one you want to use ..

The computer doesn't have the brains to tell which one to use at the time of running mohaa.. :-)

the springfield sounds like a shotgun, and i have spr dvd rip on my computer and i just watched one of the parts where they shoot the m1 and it still doesnt sounds like a real m1. The tone of it is too high. I think the gun sounds in mohaa are most acurate

There's a lot of variations of M1 on movies..

I took it from BoB.... , so it might be diffrent from what you've heard....

The M1 in SPR is ugly and almost have no sound ... like , pak pak pak pak and then comes the ping...

So I took it from BoB ... the Springfield doesn't sounds like shootgun , look at SPR and see that it's just the same....

I know the ping sound is not something fancy...
As DjHeadp said , The modder is Israeli , and like everything coming from israel , it should be flawless .. like Ilan Ramon or the Uzi..:-)

Yeah it sounds just like the M1 in BoB. But like I said before, I never did like how it sounded in BoB. Other wise the mod is great.

I dont have my personal M1 , so for me , SPR and BoB are the only indexes for realistic sounds ... , I can't anything more than that..:-) Sorry.

I prefered the M1 from BoB because the M1 in SPR is ugly.. , the sound is horrible , you can't hear anything ... as I said before , only pak pak pak , then ping !!! :-)

Shit man it is just a f__kin sound mod if ya don't like the sounds make your own.... the real game sounds are the best belive it or not... just open them and make the volume and echo and reverb to your liking and save them as 44 bit and shit you have your own sweet sounds... it takes a lot of work to make these sound mods and all should be comended for their efforts and drive on..... dammmmmmmmmmmmmm

I am not saying your sound mod is not good... This game is MOHAA not BoB.... it is personal ear candy ok... My behavior is one of violence and hate so don't push it...I play FPS games see.. lol angel:

I made my own sound mod and i think i know a thing or two about editing sound files.. and reverb and echo do make a big differnce in the quality of the sounds... Dull versus dynamic.... etc,,, oOo:

and for me , taking it from the movie , directly ! , is the most realistic thing I can get my hands on ...

It's not that the game sounds ain't good .. , I'm talking about realistic here , not about good or lame sounds.. they're all good

im happy to know that some pll cares about making a real sound mod like itamar. Not just edit the EA sounds but record new realistic ones.
And in my opinion, this is more important that skinning and texturing eatthis: , as i run the game with low textures lol.

How about you get hold of some WW2 documentarys with ACTUAL real sounds and use those thats the most Realistic sounds you could possibly get because youll be using sounds that were actually from WW2.

btw i havent heard your mod yet cos ive just installed it and im on my way to try them out now.
