It only means something if EA will actually support their current customers who purchased their current MOH games'

I for one will think very hard b4 purchasing another EA title.

Let's just hope that we do not have to "purchase" this expansion pack, for the next patch.


EA, no support = no $$ from me

I've wasted a lot of personal time supporting EA's game for them. All I asked for was a reply to a couple of tech support questions, not for me but for the community. I'm still waiting on them to reply. I guess I'm asking too much since it's only been 7 Months.

They havent fixed my CD key problem... bastards. I had to buy the game again. I am still pissed off at EA. Good game though.

I havent got Spearhead, nor do i want it. Same goes for any other titles.

I'm not going to even get into this with PMOH. They ripped me off on that story so bad, I just might bring a lawsuit against them. mad:

Unbelievable!!! There gonna announce a new game in March, but yet we aren't getting any patches for Spearhead (the patch is a month over do).

bummer. ea will fuck this over just like they did spearhead. you'll probably fight on iwo-jima with canadians using japanese weapons or something. it will just be a half-assed skin set with shitty japanese weapons without even a bayonet, retextured omaha and destroyed villiage.

I agree with Strik0r 100%. If they wouldn't have mixed Quake3 in with MOH, SH might have been worth the money. I don't understand why they couldn't just add on to MOH and keep it looking and feeling the same. SH is a gimp version of the game.

what problems lol seems to me ive gone as far as im gonna go with spearhead 2.11 i mean the futher you go the more patchs and stuff are needed if it wasnt for mods by people who actully care this game would be shi_ and the futher you go into a game the less players are avaible ((this is a reason for goin back to version 1.1 with some mods and thats all ya need!! a few custom maps and no need to spend another $ most players are on the first version anyway[url:b8c19]http://member.lycos.co.uk/spearhead88th/homepage.htm[/url:b8c19]

But I've been playing EA PC games for 6-7 years now, and for every game the tech support sucks. The community all bitches and moans and talks boycott, but nothing really changes. I love online petitions. You might as well be talking to yourself.

Anyway, I was a big NHL series fan -- until I figured out they basically re-release the same game each year with a roster update. Bah!

Before anything, before even thinking of announcing this new title they should have released that patch we have all been waiting for. This just comes as an insult. If the new moh is gonna be on the Q3 engine again.....they can forget about me buying it. hake: Their modified Q3 engine is too unstable and needs much tweaking and polishing, in other words patches!

sh isn't bad, but EA is almost evil, they did (or didn't do) about 1000 things which hurt moh. I think to this day the ea website says moh:aa has stickly bombs, other weapons, tanks and other stuff that never made it into the game...

they released 2 crappy patches for moh:aa, to get support from me they would have had to do much much much better than 2 buggy patches...

Seriously, like Tso said, there's all this complaining and it's been going on since day one with EA. But nothing changes. You hate EA because they don't support the game. Actually, if I were them, I would have just simply cut my loses over MOHAA and not even bothered with SH. It is all about business with them and the fact of the matter is that there are tons of people who don't visit websites like this who are blissfully ignorant about the game, so they continue to play it and enjoy it. And then when the next big game from EA comes out, that same person happily goes running to the store to buy it - just what EA's in business for. If they didn't do that, then they would have gone out of business.

I'm not saying it's right, but that's the way it is. For those that hang out on IRC waiting to get a copy of the game before it hits the store shelves and those who check out cheesy programs in hopes that they'll get an actual copy of the game instead of Max Payne, why bother complaining? You never wasted any money on it anyway. For those that spent money on it, well, when the next one comes out you'll go running like a lamb to the slaughter.

My thoughts on Pacific? Well, I've yet to see that patch for SH that I was promised along with the rest of you. But I stopped holding my breath and I don't expect I'll be in any real hurry to buy another Expansion. The whole problem lies in that the original developer no longer works/owns the product, so you can't ever expect to see something worth while unless they completely recode the engine, IMO.

Anyway, off to bed. Been nice catching up with you all. eek:

Well i think EA did a nice job on Spearhead its good but they can't please everyone. Some like it some don't. Don't get me wrong its not as good as AA but i still like it. Maybe mohaa 2 pacific will be better than both. Lets hope biggrin:

Dispite all you people crying about the Q3 engine... whatever happened to gameplay first??
