Question about fonts

How do you guys make text ave a texture to it? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Proteus 02-26-2003 03:50 PM

I go to layer > layer options, and then selected, gradient overlay and outer glow for mine, but you can just screw around until you get something nice. cool:

type out a bunch of text and copy and paste it like this....

blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah

in a layer under or over your picture....

snipeymagoo 02-26-2003 09:57 PM

i use some filters i found somewhere for free

Magnum 02-26-2003 11:55 PM

Texture you say? If you rasterize the type, you can apply all kinds of filters to it (brush strokes, etc.), or if you really want to get fancy, you can make a texture map in an Alpha channel and use lighting effects to get some texturing.

This is what I was talking about with Alpha Channels. Try to adapt it to text.
