There is NOTHING lame about a sniper or mg position on a roof. It is called REALISTIC.


Besides there are few things as satisfying as knowing some guy is doing it over and over and going and picking him off over and over lol

I've done it many times, and you do not need a teamate at all.

Watched a guy do it yesterday while i was spectating. You know, it's really not that much of an advantage. Why all the fuss?

that is hardly the point. I want to learn how to do that kind of stuff. Just like in the multiplayer demo for Return to Castle Wolfenstien, some guys could jump right up over the wall when they were german without any aid from a friend, but no one would tell me how.

would someone PLEASE reveal how? Do you really think it is so special you can't tell other people how to do it?

I have watched other people do it over and over when I am on observer mode. Some use a boost by jumping on the shoulder's of a friend. But some get up there by themselves.

I THINK I am doing what they do, I stand at the same spot and jump but can not get up on the broken windows at all, ever! I try running and jumping too.

Is there some special key combo to jump higher than normal? Or to jump and grab etc??

I think the only way is to jump on a teammate. But in any case, its lame to jump up there..

I saw one guy do it (i was on his team at the time) I saw he had somehow got on the roof on his own so i decided to follow him. If i hadn't seen him do it i would never have belived it was possible. I've never been able to do it even when someone is crouching in the most difficult part (the inital step up)

It's quite easy to jump over the sea wall on the RTCW map. And for MoH:AA, just set low grav http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I have tried over and over again to do this on my own, and I fail every time. The only way I can get up there is by using a teamate underneath me for the boost. I dont think its possible to do it alone.

It is possible, if u don't belive me, watch me sometime.

It's lame anyway, unless you have any team mates to jump on to get to the front of the church.

It isn't hard in the SP Demo, but I haven't found a way to do it in MP, because they take out the map!
