Can someone tell me how to register for a .tk web adress. The one I am currently working on is that FTP crap which is confusing to me, and if you're clan has a .tk address let me know how it is set up.

i keep trying to get the free domain name but you need to enter your previous web site, and i dont have one. it wont let me passed that part. any suggestions?

Do you wanna make a website? .tk is to cloak your URL, so its not something like http://www.geocities.com/jdjddk/doldnjd.html. If you want to make a website for yourself and you dont know how to use HTML, then go to http://www.geocities.com , and sign yourself up, make a website, and then cloak your URL.

heh. Well I'm really not trying to argue with anyone, I'm just trying to clear up the fact that people are directly pointing their finger at me that I banned Strik0r, just because he said I did. The truth is, I didn't. And the only ones who actually really asked to see were Noctis & Miller.

well i guess i'm a bit late, but i've been busy. here's how to get a .tk website: (remember, that its only text that appears in the Address bar on the browser! Its not a host)

1. Go to http://www.angelfire.com and sign up for a free hosting service there, and remember the location. i.e. http://www.angelfire.com/ks3/khans
2. Go to http://www.dot.tk and type the name of what you want your website to be in that text box right in front of you. (for this example, i used 'ze-khans' And when it says where you website is located, type in what you signed up for in Angelfire.
3. Wait for 72 hours or so for them to get it up.
4. go to http://www.whereever.tk and have a look at your new website! Have a squizy at [url="http://www.ze-khans.tk]mine[/url], its not a real clan [i]yet[/i] but hey, its a .tk website!

Is it easy to do that FTP stuff through angelfire than it is though DOS? I would think so, but I dont know anything about FTP, its new to me.

Yes, exactly like that.

Just fool around with Angelfire and click on a lot of stuff, you'll find it sooner or later... it'll say FTP something or something.
