british bren light machine gun
 

I always thought that the British used the BAR(Browning Automatic Rifle) in WWII, but I found a site that shows another weapon they used. Its called the Bren Light Machine Gun, and heres the link... http://www.6th-airborne.org/index.html

Can someone make a mod for this weapon to be used in the British weapon list in place of the BAR? I dont even know if that is possible, but it would sick as hell. There are photos and descriptions of the weapon on that page... for you skinners and modders out there, this might be a good challenge for you. Thanks.

That link is to the main page, sorry. You'll have to click on GEAR and then click on the Bren Light Machine Gun... there is also a British anti-tank rocket on the bottom of the GEAR page that says (PIAT), that differs from the Bazooka, but there are already enough rocket noobs out there, we dont want them running around with this thing. Take a look.

When you say you have a bren, do you mean you own one or have a skin of one?

I doubt its a virus if its a pk3 file, test it out and let me know how it goes...

Does anyone have an actual model, not a bar skin, that would just replace the british bar?

That PIAT seems so dodgy, id love to see someone try and model the reload. Id love to ssee someone try and use one like a noob running around and taking 2 mins to reload the thing

Theres no way its a Bren... its prolly just a BAR re skinned and looks like crap.

I think the model is great, it's just the skinning that needs work. Chicken's right, you guys are way too critical. I hardly ever see new models in-game, it takes a lot of hard work obviously so give him some credit. I'll download it send me the link i'll try working on the skin for ya ;)

LMAO thats one funny sig.

looking at the model and the real life one on that website, i think it has came along pretty well. After some expert skinning from Gauv there may be a good Bren coming out of this.

I know it probably sounds a bit hypocritacal telling u what to do when its your work but could you split the work between different people. Ie one person does skin, another does skelmodel, another one does animations etc and whatever else is needed. That way, one person doesnt decide its too much work and pack it in, along with our dreams of a bren
