i found a link at mohcenter.com (im not sure if thats the site) that said there was a thing you could download to give you all of the weapons in the sp demo. The link was to alliedassault.net, which is down at the moment. do any of you know where i can find this download????

Try this address:

i think that link you posted only gives you the m-1. I already have that pak10.pk3 file or whatever. but thanks alot anyways.
|
imm about to try it. thx man
|
I believe that link gives you the M1 Garand to replace the Springfield, and does not therefore give all weapons.

Yeah and the M1 for the springfield isn't exactly what I'd call a worthwhile trade either...

especially when you reach the cannons.
|
after i unzipped it i noticed that it is not the same as the m-1 file i had. that file was pk10.pk3 or something, and the files that unzipped where labeled "loadout" or something. I found that these loadout things are ".scr" files. so where do i put them in my demo folder??????
|
yeah, the M1 is great and all but if you lack the long range accuracy of the Springfield, you'll just get chewed apart when you reach the rockets. Also I found myself running out of ammo for the M1 because your not as likely to take a man down wit 1 shot.
*Edit* Is there no readme for teh new file? [This message has been edited by Graverobber (edited January 07, 2002).] |
ya, theres no readme.
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP MY POOR SOUL |
DOn't unzip the pak10.pk3, just put the file into the main folder of the mohaa directory.

Don't expect a readme from a 3rd-party mod, unless it's a proper professional one, (DoD, CS) a simple one like a weaapon replacement usually is a no-brainer, so it wouldn't be really necessary to have a readme.

Bah keep forgetting to put my sig on. http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/frown.gif

thats a cool sig echo

Sometimes they add in a real simple readme, for the brainless (like myself) that basically tell you to put the file in the /main folder, and they give a short detail list about the mod.

Well, I guess some people are too lazy to supply a readme http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/smile.gif

no prob, it really is cool.
hey and i found out that the .scr files are screensaver files. too bad |
.scr files are defaulted to screensaver files, (I think) to view em, open up any folder and at the top, one of the tabs says tools, then folder options. Click on file types and change accordingly (Note: Could disrupt your computer, only do so at your own risk. I you do not know what to do, or how to fix if a problem arises, then don;t change it). Once you have unassigned it, open it up in notepad, and you can change the text, etc.
|
im afraid to try it (this is brand new comp) but thx anyways. The weapons in the demo plus the m-1 are good enough for now.
thx |
