uk bren gun
I always thought that the British used the BAR(Browning Automatic Rifle) in WWII, but I found a site that shows another weapon they used. Its called the Bren Light Machine Gun, and heres the link... http://www.6th-airborne.org/index.html Click on Gear and then Bren Light MG
Can someone make a mod for this weapon to be used in the British weapon list in place of the BAR? I dont even know if that is possible, but it would sick as hell. There are photos and descriptions of the weapon on that page... for you skinners and modders out there, this might be a good challenge for you. Thanks. |
ya canadaians used those too
i saw that in a pic |
thats an awsome gun
very popular gun that the brits sold to many countries...
So good we were still using it 38 years later in the falklands

Hi lads...
As a young Air Cadet Sergeant i had the good fortune to carry out and instruct drill on the Lee Enfield 303, which i also fired at Blairadam Range, and on a Deactivated Bren Gun which we shared with the Army Cadets..marvelllous weapon..I was also lucky enough to get to fire S.L.R.s at Camps and fired A Stirling Sub Machine Gun at Camp in Gibraltar with the Royal Anglican Regiment..I'd love to see a Bren Gun in Mohaa in place of the B.A.R. for the Brits..A P.I.A.T. Anti Tank Rocket Launcher would also be cool to replace the Bazooka..this would keep it all authentic...:0) Best Wishes .... Rab Watson... Fife Scotland |
I prefer the Lewis Gun, myself. For those of you unfamilar with it, it's the gun the Arab guy from 'The Mummy' takes from the back of the Biplane.
Wouldn't be too hard, either. Just gotta replace the BAR files with the T-34 MG ones from SH. |

Can someone make the bren in place of the BAR? Let me know.
I thought the soviet mg was the DTM. I have tried making a bren on gmax but im a beginner. If an experience modder could make a bren in about to hours, then post it here so someone could add it to sh or do it themselves that would really make a lot of people happy, especially us Brits
hi is some one going to make the brean gun because it is an asowme gun and my grandpa used it
pics
I have many pictures of the Bren Light MG from many different angles. If you're a skinner or modder that wants to make the Bren Gun tell me and I'll send them to you, it will be very easy.
i believe there is a bren in the BF 1942 expansion pack "road to roam"
guns needed
WE NEED A BREN FOR MOHAA:SH
we also need a damn m1 carbine, maybe a grease gun, a British rocket launcher, enfield pistol and a luger. Anything to make the game more diverse and new, im getting sick of the usual weapons. |
We need to keep moaning until the modders get ed up with our whingeing and make us a bren!
u mean sten m8????
lol...you and your "infinite" knowledge of ww2...HA, the Sten was the equivalent of the Tommy gun...go buy Spearhead and check it out...lol
I mean the bren light machine gun. Top loading magazine, .303 rounds. Similar to the BAR but faster, bigger magazine and looks cool
i have SH, but the Bren sounds just like the sten!
I dont think so. 1 uses 9mm ammo, the other one uses the .303 round. A single shot should sound similar to the lee enfield - as they use the same round
brean
hay hay is anyone going to make the brean
yup
I HEAR THAT
CHECK OUT THE LINK I HAVE ON MY FIRST POST FOR THIS TOPIC, YOU WILL SEE IT IS VERY DIFFERENT FROM THE STEN
cmon, an experienced modder could do it quite quickly and easily!
yould make a lot of people happy |
fire2: zooka: bigzooka: fire1: M16: i have a bren give me your e-mail and ill send it if i can rap up the file!
send me it CASF_DocRoe@hotmail.com
theres sorta a difference here...... Please note that that sorta weapon is more a stationary weapon as in uses a bipod and isnt a more mobile its for covering squads, today we have belt fed systems that do the same... where as the BAR is like a ar15 and u use that on an assult or such.. maybe even as snipering but do you get the difference???? If u wanna add it id be happy to do the coding.... SO much funner to code then to model muaahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahaha
