How do you tell?

Ive kicked off 2 guys on my server doing this today, is there something i can do to prevent it?

Cheats on our server are disabled

sv_cheats "0"
So im not sure what can be done about it

Its quite important everyone and I mean everyone get "Elvite's voting tools". Its an easy way for the non cheaters to vote off the cheaters and laggers that refuse to leave.
Ive had the chance to use it once so far and it works like a charm. Too bad that the server host needs to be running it.

Use your heads. I seriously doubt 2015 is stupid enough to let the single player cheats work in the full versions multiplayer. -_- How could they make such a fantastic game and then turn around and do such a blunder? Have a little more faith in our developer friends!

Isnt there a pak file we could modify to put on the server that renders that command inoperable? Ive searched through the pak, but cant find anything

Try to think before accusing people to cheat. For example, i was on a server last night and i got a 12 / 0 score. The server host kicked me. Then i came back on the server to ask y and he said that was cause the hack i used sucks. Im not hacking !!! http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/tongue.gif

whats wrong with lagging? im a dialup player cause dsl and cable are not offered in my area (dont even make a comment about my name lol) so i often am playing with a 250 - 300 ping i cant help it so am i to be excluded from playing?

trust me its just as hard for me to hit you as it is for you to hit me.

You make a good point, but these people are obviously using God Mode, unlimited ammo, ect ect.. This causes a lot of paranoia and good players become targets. I'd actully pay money for a hacker to make a working anti-cheat program that last at least 6 months.

Only cheat im talking about is the Godmode cheat. You can only tell when the person uses that.

I play on the o2 server, i play with alot of o2 members.
I am talking about the people pinging 700+ that refuse to leave, thats all. And anyone using a cheat will be spoted easily by more then one person. Heck I just went on a 13-0 run and was accused of using godmode. Maybe it was my 13 ping. The voting tool makes it so on a non-hosted server, such as the o2 server thats up today, the users have a chance to get rid of cheaters, hella-laggers, and punk ass zit faced name callin kids.
And if you can deal with 250 ping, it dont bother me at all. I understand not everyone has access to a decent connection.

Manny, when someone does tell you, you will go and cheat, like little fuckers do, and people who browse this forum will see how to cheat, and they will cheat like lil' fuckers too, and then we would get a bad rep. as the forum which let out cheats. Oh most of the people here don't like lil' fuckers cheating, so ur not on a good start.

It would be nice if 2015 would issuea patch for the demo to disable this ability...never seen this kind of cheat in any other game....they should be able to do that. Patching a demo is not uncommon anyway, and we still have at least two more weeks until the full version is available - and waiting to hear from them if this kind of cheating will be possible in the full version.

i'm kinda bummed to realize that people have been using the sp cheats for mp by modifing the command line, its a shame becusa u are practally godlike, i really hope that 2015 does something about this before the cheats go into widespread use.

to late its all ove the place now i just got cheated on 5 times. STUPID MEDIA FOR TELLING EVERYONE! why coulndt they keep it secret!!
