n00b question
 

okay, this question is a n00b question, i know, but whatever. I want to know how to crop photos in Photoshop, so that that what ever i crop, the rest will not be there and only the remaining is saved as the image.

use the tool that looks like a box with a diagonal line thru the top right and bottom left corners. thats the crop tool

It sure doesnt take up mine - 21" trinitron 1024x768 at work and a 21" 1024X768 viewsonic profesional at home mwah:

Then again, maybe I have it blocked. I have about 40+ images from this site blocked for either inapproprite content, size, gifs/animations, anti-american, and just plain stupid. I wish I could block entire users. Now that would be cool.

how do you put a pic in your sig anyway

use magnetic lasso, right click on the lasso tool and select the one that has a little icon of a lasso to use it
