03-23-2003 09:29 AM

They are bands.
Fear factory made that catchy "Here in my car" song. And Coal chamber made the "Roof is on Fire" song.

MrLevinstein 03-23-2003 09:32 AM

Alright, Fear Factory broke up a while ago, and Coal Chamer is still together...

FF is a lot better that CC, but then again they are two different styles of music...and with that "here in my car" song...thats a cover song by The Cars biggrin:

Bazooka_Joe 03-23-2003 02:01 PM

Fear Factory. Coal Chamber has better shit now, but Fear Factory was always cool.

Old Reliable 03-23-2003 02:12 PM

its like comparing shit to shit

EasyTrick2.0 03-23-2003 02:38 PM

Just as long as you know it was not original. That song was like from the early 80s heh

EasyTrick2.0 03-23-2003 09:57 PM

I know man, 80s music kicks ass, you don't have to tell me about originality here. I heard every song from the 80s. Plus the cars are one of my favorite bands from the 80s. Drive was a great song.

Here in my car. It was a cover song. Originally done by Garry Neuman, but im sure you dont know who he is nor do you know Fear Factory's smurf band. Song was called "Cars" from the living Ornaments album. he was one of the pioneers of electronica, and influenced new wave, punk, and electronica.

Fear Factory's first album was good, and gave a fresh face lift to the dribble of metal. They then fell victim to OzzFest, corporate mediocrity, and have thus become another nu-metal shit band. Coal Chamber is a joke. Another non interesting nu-metal, spooky Manson gimmick using been around for 5+ years and we still suck. Saw them at the first OzFest and i laughed. Only reason i went was to see Neurosis.

Now in view of your un-enlightened, unfortunate music of choice (im making an assumption here since you started the poll), I am here to save your metal-challenged soul. You need to seek out the following bands:

Coalesce
Isis
Neurosis
Nasum
Brujeria
PitchShifter(first 2 records; since you enjoy the electronics and e chords hake: )
Brutal Truth
Benumb
Pig Destroyer
Agoraphobic Nosebleed

I can go on and on. If you want more info or links, PM me...and may God have mercy on your poor misguided soul... cool:

lol. Well I enjoy some of Coal Chamber and Fear Factory's songs. I was just seeking other peoples opinions on them. I'll be sure to check out those bands you listed.
