i mean the game is gold, why haven't we seen some?

Gold means the code is finished.
You need the code to be on a cd, that's what's happening now...

usually they pass out a few gold disk for a few mags or what not for review...

yeah but the reviews aren't usually released till after the game is, so as not too ruin the surprise of the experience.

Well look around do you see any now before the game is released? I realize that early copies are handed out but it takes time to do a thorough review, and if they wanted to test the full version multiplayer on Gamespy, how would it be possible before the full release?

94% better than HL they reckoned , btw it also has single player demo on the cover CD for those of you who stil havent got it

yeah i was wondering what kinda of crack some of u were smoking when i was hearing that reviews don't come out until after games hit the shelves.

Previews and Reviews are two different things. Most if not all reviews show up after a game is finnished.

it is reviewed in the feb. issue of pcgamer. they gave it a 91%

the first reviews come after games go gold but before they hit the shelves. they have nothing to do with previews...
