its starting to freak me out ed: 160 cases in canada & over 3000 people have been quarinteened in toronto alone. also one person who had SARS showed up in the hospital in peterborough which is only a small city of 68,000 ed: i hope they find a cure or vacine soon.

Its only got a 3.5% kill rate, don't be too worried.

You think your in danger? I'm currently living in Hong Kong right now, the source of this outbreak. At least 2000 people are quarantined here and the whole population is panicking. Half of them are wearing mask and no one is going out. heh.

Taiwan is pretty much the same. At school today I was kind of suprised by the fact that my school's principal actually gave my wife and I masks to wear while we're teaching there.

Also, there's around 4 to 7 kids in each class who are wearing masks. oOo:

There's only been a few deaths from it in Taiwan and probably about 20 or so quarentined. But the news is making it out to be a bigger problem than "The War on Iraq" which only gets about 5 minutes worth of news coverage, compard to the SARS coverage of around 70% of the program. eek: wtf's up with that.....
