I know I will probably get a lot of people questioning my decency for this post, but do you know what the best game ever would be? It would be titled Terrorist and the plot would be you are a terrorist working for a crimelord trying to kill as many civilians as possible in exchange for money. Of course the biggest threat to you would be Swat teams and other forms of enforcement. There would be different missions such as blowing up subways, taking a CEO hostage, and other missions. I know this game would never happen because the government would shoot it down faster than anything else. I don't know about the rest of you, but I think it would be very fun to just get to kill innocent people (no, I would never do anything like that in real life) It would be sort of like a more graphic version of Grand Theft Auto. So, whatcha think?

Yeah well I was too lazy to click over to the general forum. But seriously, there are some other non-related MOH topics here too so I figured it didnt really matter. Hey, and 2015 could take into consideration of my stupid idea too

For me the best game ever would be if they made one massive level or scene or whatever you would like to call it of Stalingrad, and every single skirmish and every single bombing in Stalingrad were recreated. There would not be any loading from level to level since there would only be one massive level. You would play as a Soviet or a German soldier. There would be a huge clock on the top of the screen which would tell you how long you have to survive in order to finish the game. It would basically be from the beginning of the Battle Of Stalingrad till the end. You as a player would have total freedom and you could run around where ever you want. You would survive in sewers or other places. You would get "quests" from people you meet but they would be like to capture something or join that platon and attack that, or maybe you meet some civilians and you have to find their child or something. You could also do nothing at all but will need to find food, and while you're doing all that there will be battles and bombings going on around you. When the clock stops you finish the game.

Wow, maybe we should become programmers and graphics arts, 3d modelling designers. Then we should start turning the kogs for a game or some kind.

I want a world war 2 game that is completely realtime. Much the same as Operation Flashpoint, but no levels, just a continuous stream of missions in huge modelled environments of France, Germany, Africa so on so forth. You work with a squad of guys that all have a story and a background, have different specialties, they all act like real humans, have conversations between themselves and you the player. Weather and time of day effects, huge battles that you can involve yourself and your squad with, battles happen without you actually being there, everything is as it would be in real life. You can assign soldiers to your squad as you go. I could go on and on, but this is what I REALLY wanna see in computer games in the future. Maybe a little too ambitious http://www.pcgamers.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

Best game ever (well, that I enjoyed and have the fondest memories of..) : THE ADVENTURES OF WILLY BEAMISH (sega CD version)
Quite simply the most entertaining and nostalgia-inducing game ever f or me.. Of course, A LOT of the sega CD library makes me nostalgic to the point I .... AH FUCK IT. I'm GETTING ME A SEGA CD FROM EBAY ! /me steps out the door.. /me comes back in.. seeing as the pc is there. |
To be honest... The best game on PC for me would be Half-Life.
It brought so many modifications with it that Im glad I spend $30 to purchase it. There are countless Mods... For the most part, For the last few years since I got the game... Ive been playing all the mods... Starting with TFC, then CS, and now I play DoD. Its a WW2 mod and brings lots of fun. Right now thats keeping me busy till the other games like OFP,MOH:AA and Max Payne come out. I have WW2O, but the bugs are really annoying and I dont really play that much because of the gay FPS , maybe when my new computer arrives I might play it more often. ------------------ http://www.3rdInfantry.homestead.com/files/bladesig.jpg |
