The majority of the balls are red on a snooker table. Even still, you don't strike the red balls directly...you still have to hit them with the cue ball.

Perhaps he's lining up his shot.....I do it all the time.

perhaps its a fake shot, he might be pretending to be playing snooker, i dunno why he wud do tht tho....
