Was lurking from the time the site was launched, signed up around june 6th 2001 (oddly enough). Woulda signed up earlier but there was like 3 people on the forums. oOo:

I've been around since I found out about the game (sometime before demo came out)

but apparently I've been around since 'Nam.

Same here. Since the demo came out, I had A quzemoto account long time ago, but I forget the password. and then i lurks around somemore and registered with quze on April 2nd 2002.

I signed up early Jan 2002. I only heard about the game in December when a mate linked me to the Omaha SP demo. It looked awesome but I wasn't chomping at the bit to play it.

So, just after Christmas 2001, we DL the MP demo of Stalingrad and I started a server just for us two.

I remember vividly how, upon loading the map for the first time, it all seemed much larger and darker than it actually is. It seemed like a maze of interconnected rooms and I could hardly see anything until I turned up the brightness.

I remember playing snipers until we realised shotguns were quite fun. I tried a few live servers and slowly got bored of DM until all of a sudden out came the Hunt.

We played that, started getting better at SMG, my mate at sniper and then we started getting hooked.

We came across mohmatch but that seemed a really pedestrian site. Then he showed me aa.com.

Within a week I was in my first flame war about cheating before the game was even out.

/sigh

I started browsing here a little after 9-11, I'd say around October. Then, I acutally joined the forums in early November.

9-11 seems like such a long time ago, but in reality it isnt

I was here before the demos were out, then I left, and came back.

You should have never came back you dickless wonder.


Anyway I posted a little bit back in the demo days too, but forgot about the game until it was released.

Even though it's kind of odd to have a class of "vets", but I think the golden days on these forums were before August of 2001.

Yeah I don't consider myself a vet. I guess I am sense I joined up before more than half of the other posters did, but registration date doesn't mean a whole lot as long as you don't act too gay.

May 2001, I believe. Not too sure when I joined but it was really early on!

I was either late June 2001 or early July 2001. I can still remember the first post I made. Got that dude I can't remember his anem mad at me. Then I remember that night he was asking for help on getting a demo for OFP. And i said "Yah I got it, I aint gonna give it to you asshole" I thought I was so cool. When in fact ,I was the greenest of greens. Man DoD was the game of games back then, still pretty much kicks ass, but MOHAA had such great potential at that time. I love you guys eatthis:

lol, i cant even remember my first post, but i remember being flamed by a few guys(gervis biggrin: ). I got to know gerard, sloi and albow though aa.net, pretty much became really close friends. Became pretty much best friends with fram on AIM

Aww damn, you guys remember candystand cream savers bowling? Man that game used to make me cream save in my trousers it was so awsome. I remember playing Solidus and Spooge alot, they were always kicking my ass and giving me shit. Whent heyw as the ones playing it 24/7 learning all the little secrets. Yah that was a great game though. We never had a huge tournament, like we probably should have. Yep, great game. I was always chocalte or orange... just throwing that in there for memories sake.

I use to play with sloi, albow, spooge, and gervis alot. Fun times, oh well good things dont last forever.

I browsed the boards for a long time.. since August of 2001 or so, but never felt the desire to register. Not until I was running a clan (which was horrid, mind you) did I register to post.

Now here I be.

I joined summer of 2001, but im not really remembered too well from back then as i didnt go on the chat, so i didnt know all the litle inside jokes everyone talked about.
I used to post on the general discussion forum and give help, but then i found the off topic forum.

MOHAA isnt even on my pc anymore and i havent posted in general topic for well over a year.

im a moderator at http://www.talkspeeding.co.uk (car modifying forum) so spend a lot of time there now.

june 2001 i think.... when i got to about 400 posts i started flaming ED and got in the site war with flipside.
