Lee Enfield Sniper
Can Some one make a lee enfield sniper to replace the UK Springfield the Lee Enfield is the more historicly accurate.
thats the 101000 post you have made about asking somone to make you that
US Springfield, and PM someone
like sgt kia, or guerenere |
sniper let me know if you get someone to do it, shouldnt be too hard just add a scope onto the lee enfield. that would be pretty awesome now i think about it. If anyone does it email it to me at czy_bam@hotmail.com
The Enfield in SH isnt accurate... it reloads from the top when in reality it reloaded on the bottom, as seen in his pic. I made the same post about the British Enfield with the scope a while ago, and you could actually understand what i was saying lol. If you are going to request, use correct english. if anyone needs info about the weapon id be willing to help... check out my post about the bren gun, the brits need some diversity for SH!
yeah walker i read ur post on the bren, pretty detailed stuff. Do u know if anyone has tried this lee enfield mod yet?

Actually it did have a clip that loaded from the bottom. the ones with the strip clips were in the earlier models closer to the end of WW1. In the middle of WW2 the started to manufacture them with case clips, like the one i posted above. next time do your research before you post. it just might help ya
Uh huh.
Where does it say in SH which model the Enfield is? Since it's the one with stripper clips loaded from the top, then Walker is wrong.
What are you talking about? In Spearhead the Lee Enfield rifle reloads from the top with stripper clips... In WWII the Lee Enfield reloaded from the bottom with a single clip... get it?

This game is based after D-Day which is just before the end of the war, HMMM im right
The game in Spearhead uses stripper clips, which is the one Paratroopers used I believe.
*edit*
game = Enfield And I'd suggest saying that EA is dumb, get over it. |

I beg to differ. I've been thinking about this sort of thing for a while, and i haven't seen a single post about it. I think a British sniper rifle is a good idea biggrin: |

Thanks for the contribution.
an Enfield Sniper would be great!!!!!!!!! and ive never seen a post mentioning it
I posted one a few weeks ago, and Sniper101 posted it before that, but I looked in the last few pages of posts and I couldnt find it. Oh well.
hmmm
What's your problem with the SP 03' ?
It's good enough , even better than the Enfield... Although it has some gas problems .... oOo: (SP) I hope someone will be able to make this... Doesn't seem very hard.... because there is an Enfield rifle already in SH , can't they import , add a scope and get it to AA or just post it as a SH addon ? |
Nothings wrong with the Springfield... Spearhead just gets boring when you like to be a British model... EA could have made SH so much better by adding British weapons like the PIAT(Projector Infantry Anti-Tank) in place of the bazooka, the Bren Light Machine Gun in place of the BAR, and the Lee Enfield with a 3x No.32 or Mk3 telescopic sight in place of the Springfield sniper. Here is a pic of each... I really want to put a modding team together so we can create all 3 of these weapons.. it would make SH as a Brit much more playable and interesting. Check it out...

I have to agree with walker whats the point of adding some of the allied weapons but then using the same sniper rifle, machine gun and bazooka that the US used.
The British had their own version of these. EA should have used them in SH but we all know EA will never do it right when they can do something half assed. |
nice
i agree, as everyone else did, that it would be cool.
you got two options: 1) there was a scope mod for AA, where all weapons got a scope, its kind of cheating, but you can snipe. just increase the accuracy in the pk3 or whatever. 2) dickeat guarnere or something... hake: and EA sucks, i say we make a mod where EA programmers replace nazis, and you can go around and fuck em up |
I also have extensive knowledge regarding all these weapons and WW2 in general, though i cant skin or mod to well id be happy to help. i can get the general information from pics to sounds etc. if we can get a true WW2 mod team going i can set it up as a pieace of my website. just tell me what you think and send me names, e-mails and stuff like that
We all know ea are lazy bastards and didnt research brit weapons at all. For example what they call the sten mk2 is in reality the sten mk5.
And also, i think i can clear up this thing about the enfield loading. As a cadet in the ATC we have de activated enfields (dont know which version) which we use for dry training and rifle drill. When u first load them u use the mag. Then when this is empety you can use either stripper clips or insert a new mag. I would think that mags would have been used in ww2 though as there are easier to handle, store in webbing and use then stripper clips |
muffs right i have an enfield 303. same thing. date on it is 1939.it was new still in the box never even issued. and i bought it for about 300$ off some drug additc and it came with a scope mount so i put it on and bougt a BSA catseye and put on it. now i deer hunt with it and it will take strippers or mags.
