It would be pointless to ask an admin. They wont even clean out the database to make the forum stop shitting. Why the hell would they care about your name.

Just open a new account with the new name if you want to change it. However you will lose that ever important post count... OH NO... (Where the fuck is rolly eyes when i need him!)
