I want to know how the @$#" all people do to bend over so easy...
u know that movement u can do with Z and C...

I still cant figure it out, prolly they r aliens and have 10 fingers in each hand or w/e.. sum1 can tell me plz??

Or how do i setup keys for doing that easy or something... thx eek:

Here is my key setup for it...

I have my arrow keys for moving forward and backward and side strafing.

To lean i use the Delete key for lean left and the Page Down key for lean right..

I use w,a,s,d, to move around and left shift is lean left and X is lean right..it may look hard when you look at the key board,but its not, im jsut fast on the keyboard when playing games

Yes, the famous old school DOOM player set up, I still use that setup, fuck letters.

I have a five button mouse so I use the side buttons to lean, w.a.s.d. to move, ctrl to squat (esy to reach just by using the side of my hand at the base of my little finger) and the x key to talk. And, of course, the k and7 keys in succession to ask the cowards to come out! biggrin:

Same here, I've tried to do the wasd setup but the doom setup (Wolf 3d for me) is hardwired into my brain.

if you bind lean to q and e its real easy to lean and strafe at the same time

it just with just about any keys

i tried using that wsda crap but i hated it

the easist way to lean and run at same time is by running diagonal

hold in Up and Right and use your spare finger to hit your lean keys ( delet and Pg Down)

leaning is great way to avoid being shot by snipers (if you do it right)

if you are doing a sniper battle from each side of the map i usualy always let the other sniper shoot first because then i have that hole time to aim them up while standing still before they can shoot at me again

Num key 0 = zoom
Num key 1 = duck
Num key 4 = reload
ctrl = walk
enter = open door
shift = holster weapon
delet = lean left
Pg down = lean right
Home = drop weapon

quick tip on drop weapon

if your using your sniper up close with another sniper if you shoot him and his still alive he is on 5 health throw down your sniper gun by pressing Home and your pistol will come out straight away you dont ahve to put your sniper away then get out your pistol, it comes out straight away no waiting

ineteresting key settings.. hmm see i go with nothing fancy. i use a two button mouse, and thats it. my controls are
w=forward
s=back
d=move right, strafe right
a=move left, strafe left
r=reload
1=6=weapon choice
space bar=jump
f=drop weapon
e=open door, set bomb

and thanks for that drop sniper thing... everyone figured that out about well since forever. but thnx ! oOo:

wdase shift 1234567 space yt alt mouse 1 mouse 2 mouse 3 mouse 4 and wheel

On the keypad:

- = toggle walk/run
7 = lean left
8 = move forward
9 = lean right
4 = strafe left
5 = move backward
6 = strafe right
+ = reload
enter = use
. = binoculars

PageUp = jump
PageDown = Duck
Insert = holster weapon
Delete = drop weapon

Mouse for firing/zooming/switching weapons.

Some taunts bound to keys in the vicinity of the keypad.

EDSF for movement and AG for lean. Quite odd eh. hehe

Hasn't anyone tried the Nostromo N50? I won't play without it now. It is by far, way better than a keyboard.

Its cool, after programing it the way you like, your hands never have to leave it or move.

becaue the f and g keys are so close to wasd, it makes it easier

U guys are weird, i just do it normal, lmao.all u have to do is use ur middle part of ur index finger and the middle part f ur ring finger.U can get used to it quick, i did biggrin:

the easiest way to run and lean is to have your lean button opposite your strafe button. for instnace, i use wasd, my lean right is q and my lean left is e. so you can hold a and e easily and move like u want to. this probably makes zero sence but oh well. i know what i mean.
