Its not because your brain can't "process" of, or whatever dumb ass exlanation they said, its because when you read it out loud "of" sounds like "ov", therefore you don't think that there is an F there and skip it.

Anyway, I counted all of them.

You have to stop reading out loud and simply recognize the words: that
way, you not only assimilate it faster, but you don't make counting fuck-ups.
