I wonder if mods like DoD and CS could update to the new version of Half Life when it comes out, that would be so good. DoD would finally look pleasing to the eye and graphically compete with recent games.

Seriously, just think of how good the mods for the original HL were and how much better there gonna be with HL2. This is gonna be awesome.

If that happens then I will become a DoD player. Ive played it abit off and on over the past year and cant stand the shitty graphics, although ger has steadily been tyring to convince me its gameplay makes it worth it...

well what i meant was, this was supposed to come out in 2000, its not 2003. That thing must be full of bugs to be delayed 3 years, and they started working on it in 97.

It does believe me, im more or less retired from it but i may start back into it in the next version. Depends on how my search for a clan in moh goes, not good so far and i miss playing in one cry:

Seriousy though for teamwork dod shites all over medal of honor. One scenario was me miller and innox playing on a server, on overlord which is a beach invasion map. I had the bipod fg-42 and was gunning the bluff stopping allies coming up and miller and innoxx were providing me with ammo so i could keep the allies at bay.

Miller traded positions with me and he was able to do the same job with me in one of the bunkers with a karbiner rattling away at the advancing allies on the beach. If he needed ammo id haul ass to where he was and supply him with it.

Theres just so many elements of dod that are so much better for teamplay, the machinegunner plays a vital role in the game, your best offence really is to get him prone somewhere and deploy the mg and base your attack around his covering fire which will be repelling the enemies. A real PLUS point is the addition of not having to worry about enemies spawning behind you as well... eek:

DoD is a great game, i remember that game to.

I also remember me hinding in a dark shadowed room and i got rushed by 3 germsn i unloaded my tommy gun on two of them, pulled out my colt and pop the other one. BHD STYLE!!!! biggrin:

half life 2 is scheduled for sept 30th 2003, so this year.

it's not just now being made, its just now being announced. They said they began working on it right after the release of half life.

I'm glad they are taking their sweet time.

Hopefully this game will come out on a sweet ass engine. I can't imagine the possibilities of this, especially with the mods.

i kind of get confused about the stroyline, because in this game, gordon freeman, the hero of the first game returns. i remebered the ending of blueshift, hwere you are teleported to all these places and one place there was an opening, and through that opening you could see 2 soldiers dragging along freeman as if he was dead.

have you played half-life? remember the part where Gordon was captured and thrown into the trash compactor
