I was just wondering if there was like a new patch out or something to stop the cheaters?!

1.11 is the last patch that%($@%^($@@$% EA released for Allied Asault. there are however numerous anti-cheat programs and most good servers use one program or another.

Even those chameleon skins?!

Yeah, Delator, Counter-Intelligence, and Gotcha! All do the job.

all those do is kick people for using skins like allied_ronald or some bright skin names. chameleon skins replace allied_airborne and german tank commander or something. there are programs out there that disable the client from using forced models, but that doesn't help anything.

Thats what i thought. To catch chameleons, you have to force screenshots and request emails.

that only works in the no forced models situation. look at how many servers there are, is a cheater really going to be discouraged because he is banned from a single server? of course not.

then there's always the no-recoil area. can't think of any way to prove they're not using one. i didn't think it would make that much difference until i tried it just to find out, and the garand is a killing machine.

Chameleon users give themselves away sooner or later anyway. Most are too greedy to let the obvious shots go. As far as banning, I dont mind if the cheater goes to a new server, as long as it isnt mine. The only experience I have had with no-recoil is when I get spawned without a gun, noise or recoil. It can be kind of fun, but is it really that big of an advantage?

And yes, the m1 is brutal. Its my favorite weapon.

pandora will but there arent very many servers running it. its a client/server program that will only let you connect with stock pk3s.

why do people keep saying pandora will stop the cheats? pandora does not do anything! in fact, there is no one single way to stop cheating

oops i forgot to say why pandora doesnt do anything...it has been hacked and that allows people to bypass it so tehy can join pandora servers with custom files

1.3 was hacked so they released 1.4, 1.4 was hacked now theyve released 1.5. Either way i dont much thing about cheating anymore, and i fell pretty safe with pandora 1.5.
