Hey, got a question.

Im wanting to make a new website for my clan.

How much would you charge to do the images?

Website graphics, eh? Hrm...never really thought of charging anything for making graphics. I probably should...heh heh.

Just let me know when the time comes, and I'll see if I can swing a graphic or two.

well thats the thing, time is now, the guy who was making it (a pro) lost his files cuz his HDD stopped working....

So now I gotta do it and I suck at images.

All I need is some background images, a nav bar, banner, and left side panel for poll's and shit.

A sig takes 5 mins. I might, and I stress MIGHT, make 1-2 sigs a day now.

Planning, drafting, designing, tweaking, and re-tweaking a full suite of website graphics takes a considerable amount of time and effort. Not to mention the inevitable send backs from the guy you're designing for, which could start the whole design life cycle over.

Furthermore, you have to test the graphics for fit and overall look & feel in a sample HTML page, which isn't going to code itself. So, you can tack on all that coding time too.

Don't flame him about that. Zoner91 might make sigs, but sigs are small and easy for those who do image design.

Graphics for websites are far more difficult. For one, you need to know the exact dimentions of the website, that way it wont stretch the images in any way and make them have less quality. For two, like Zoner91 said, "Not to mention the inevitable send backs from the guy you're designing for, which could start the whole design life cycle over."
