Why Retards Shouldn't Be Server Admins
This server was, by far, the absolute worst I've ever visited. That includes servers run from cable modems oOo:

The real server admin retard are the ones who think they need to add the gayest mods to their servers, such as modding maps by adding in the tanks that shoot automatically or trying to add scopes to weapons on spearhead, awhich already have the secondary function of bash, making it pretty damn useless.

To find out what makes a really good server admin, try visiting http://www.MOHAdmin.com and browsing the site. Also don't install utterly retarded mods, such as respawning on V2 and childish localization.txt mods (american reich.

well now...i happen to be a server admin with just such mods. i have the tank and the scopes..and the text. so i guess based on you two clowns opinion of what a gay server is i should change it to suite you. what a load of bs. heres an idea..if you dont like the server..MOVE ON. you may find this hard to believe but i have a lot of regulars who enjoy my server just as it is. oh did i mention i also have the mustard gas mod as well. it was a giant hit. everyone loves it. i would understand if you were talkin about a server admin kickin you because your a better player..thats bs as well. but dont knock a server just because you dont agree with the way its set up. as far as the different server set ups...its like this..opinions are like assholes...everyone has one. if you dont like a server. like i said..MOVE ON!! find something that suits your play style..but that dont make it a gay server just because you dont like it. who are you..like the great abd powerful oz or somethin. official moh server critic.

I would like to remind you what most of you pay to play on a server,,,
Truth is it costs 150 bucks for a good size server with good ping. That aside the work an admin puts as well as the hours of spectating to keep it cheat free so you can play with peace in mind. An admin may ask even the teams ..... then we are told to shut up. An admin may ask to watch the language .. where told to fuck off An admin may ask for the spam to stop ... it doubles,,, An admin may say stop team killing...... If you see something you dont like on the server ... It is Gay .... You are so fast to trash a server for something you dont like yet most never thank us for the things they do like. I run the =LMAO= server, we are know for the custom mods we run and are filled around the clock .. there are alot of players that enjoy the surprise of a dog chasing them ... or added plane that flys by, we have created capture the flag in stock maps, as well as bash arena for those who enjoy that. If it is not your type of thing move on silently, but you shouldt come into someones house and start complaining cause you dont like the color of paint in the kitchen, there are difrent tastes and styles, i hope you all find the server that fits you best, To sum it up,, There are alot of freeloaders out there that are to fast moan. They complain with no understanding of the hours of work that goes into running a maintaind server, or days of scripting a mod that might bring a smile. No matter what your tastes are, when you find the server that is right for you,, remember to say thank you before you leaave, that is all it takes for an admin to want to do more, Thanks =LMAO= KoHP PS today a player came into our full server while we played capture the flag,,, he kept asking where the flag is ..and I spent the time to explain.. when he kept getting killed chargeing down main street. he says ... in caps WHAT THE FUCK .... THIS SERVER SUCKS.. ASSHOLES. I asked him not to swear, and he told me to F off.. so i kicked him, he came back in and asked why i kicked him I said rudness.... ASSHOLE was the reply.... I banned him. instead of asking why server admins are retarted you should ask why do server admins bother. |
I have seen some very stupid assholes as mods who realy shouldn't even be playing the game or they need to complet 2end grade. There was this one server that i was were the admin would kick you if
1.beat him in top score 2.sniped him several times even if he was standing in the open 3.if he killed you once and then you killed him 5 in turn 4.if he said he was the beast player on the server and you told him he wasen't 5.if he spawn camped and he killed you, you saw were he was and flanked him killed him and he would say you were cheating and kick you this guy was realy retarded he couldent play for shit and unfortinatly he was the admin. needless to saw i didn't stay very long |
an asshole can be a player or a server admin. it dont matter. an asshole is just that no matter what his role is. its always been my advice to playerterms likie s ....find a server you like and stay there. hoppin around to different servers will only drive you nuts. most of the players on my server have been there for a year or more. new guys come and go but the regulrs remain the same. if you stay on a server as a regular youll find the admin will listen to you about what you would like to see in the game. you cant expect an admin to change his server all around cause you dont like it on your first and probably only visit.terms like ....this place sucks.. gettin killed and responding with ...BITCH...will more then likely get you kicked out on your ass. and for my way of thinkin..rightfuly so.

I must say i agree with the others when they say "don't like it? move on!" I like you use to bitch and whine when i went into a "gay" server, but that was over a year ago when i 1st got the game. Sure some mods may seem lame and unfair. Lets take the ALL SCOPE mod as an example. Yes every weapon has a scope but it has it's draw backs... You still have to deal with the range and accuracy of the weapon being used. BUT it also keeps everyone on they're toes which is thrilling to a lot of players. Not all mods or servers for that fact are for everyone. Now that i'm an ADMIN with the TEAM i started with some friends i made while playing the harsh reality of how hard it is to make a server run and run smooth kicks me in the teeth. I myself don't work on our server ( i maintain our website ) but i appreicate ALL that "Catcorpse" does with our server. We don't think like most clans do anyway. We call ourselves a "TEAM" and strive to make as fun and exciting server as we can. After all it is a game (can't believe i just said that). We just happen to choose not to run any server side mods, but that could change. My whole ADMIN team work hard to keep our games fun. And F U N is what it's all about. So in closing all i gotta say is don't waste your time crying and bitching in here about a "gay" server and spend some time out there looking for the server that fits what your looking for. |

I am 32 and I have a wife and a six year old son I am a member of the United Steal Workers of America Union,I am a welder I repair rail road cars for a rail car service. Also I am the Admin for AMERICAN REICH!!!!! I am sorry to here such awful things about my server. I have never said to anyone that I am the best server admin but I am no means the worst!!!! The mods you are referring to like the text mod I got from here at allied assault you know it its captain kickass!!!! mod I only changed a few things in it one is (got shot in the hairy bean bag) I got lots of laugh,s out of it. As far as the other taunt you are talking about its not just got fu**ed its fu**ed up by....... I named the server RATED (R) for the lang..... The tank mods I have are black barts map fixes you can get them at http://www.invisiblewarriors.com I am a registered member there! The other map fixes I run are DMZ dog tags & The Cheat Police map fixes get DMZ Every where and the other at http://www.thecheatpolice.com I am a registered member there also. I am a registered member of mohaa admins too!!! I don't do allot of posting because with a family and the little time I get to play the game and admin I have a life beyond the game I am not a tyrant nor unfair!!! noctis you where banned on the request of one of my former members cheerleader (allied girl). She said you were posting things or doing some chat or something that she didn't like and was scaring her and asked that we banned you!!!!! So we did!!!!! I wish you could have had a conversation with me by email or something rather than bash my server or my admin skills!! Oh yea the respawn thing was asked for by everyone!!!!! I also made the rounds 15 mins!!!!! I don't just go kicken people for being good I wouldn't have any one on my server ever!!! Well i am here to post about a rather upsetting post bashing the server i call home. Now the admin/leader Angel Dust works very hard to keep that server up and running and trying to keep everyone happy. I like to play on this server because of the mods he uses (in particular the language one that gives this server a R rating). I immeadately became a regular on this server because it was different from every other one i had played on. Now everyone is entitled to our opinion, that's what makes this country great. However i don't think you should've made that post bashing it. that is your personal opinion. Now some people won't even drop by to check our server out. I mean we have had over 20,000 different people or something like that in over 3 months time and we have TONS of regulars that come and play that aren't in the clan. The server is busy most of the time, but it has its dead points due to some custom maps we use that you can get off of americanreich.com Now please, let people decide for themselves about our server. You can't make everyone happy all the time, but all we aim to do is make the game a little more fun. freak: |

No i don't agree with such posts, but he's recieved a lot of crap from different people and he's just sick and tired of unappreciative people just coming on the server and being jerks about it.
His post is understandable, but it totally refutes what he said earlier. I'm sure if he could delete it he would. |

But I don’t feel that bitching about our forum is gonna hurt us much little man. I’ve seen lots of ppl come into the server with cheats on and the console has made sure the ppl have been caught. Now the ppl that have been banned for the wrong reason we apologize. We have had over 20,000 NEW I.P.s enter the server in the last 3 months and that’s not including the return ppl. I have personally seen more return ppl in the server than new and I play a lot. Now if we ban SOOOO many ppl than that would not be so don’t ya think? Noctis I don’t doubt you are a skilled player but in playing this game I have seen people that can match or beat your score in half the time it takes you to achieve it. So how do we know who is cheating and who’s not. I know AS IM SURE YOU DO that there are a lot of cheats that are not detectable even by the MOST advanced cheat detecting software so if I go into my server and see the person with the top kills has for an example 45 kills and only 5 deaths that looks really funny and for a person who SAYS he has run a world class server so to speak you sure don’t know much about how hard it is to catch cheaters. A good example would be id you where in a server and your soo good at this game, you had top kills and had lets say 40 kills and only 8 deaths. Not bad for a guy that has been playing this game since it’s come out. But right below you is a kid who has only had the game for 2 weeks and is matching you kill for kill because he has installed a nice little wall hack or aim bot. Now here’s my question to you Mr. Server….. how do you know who's cheating. They have the same score, same kills and deaths and have both been in there the same time. Well following them would be good but you don’t see anything out of the ordinary just making some nice shots as is the player who is not cheating. What do you do….. Not an easy decision for a person. Maybe they’re just both that good. Only the cheater knows what’s going on. So how do YOU know? The answer is no one does. I’ve personally followed some ppl that I know for a fact have been playing this game for awhile and know they don’t cheat, make some really NICE shots. But I’ve seen cheaters make those shots too. But I don’t know them, how long they have been playing the game ect. So we go with our gut. We are sorry if we banned ppl that are legit but we are only human. This is supposed to be fun, no ones perfect (but we try LOL). This post doesn’t need to be responded to by all who read it just to bring out how hard it is to keep game play fair for the little people who just got the game and wanted to try some online fun or for those who are just not quite as good as the people who have had this game since it came out. Just think about what was said here it’s a great server, a great CLAN I love you all for sticking together and standing your ground. This really show what the (RAT_PACK) is made of, and believe me this little adventure will make our clan stronger and better than the next. If we shut down the server for every piss ant that has a problem, this server would have been gone long ago. People that come in here and play for 10 min then go and post on the forum shouldn’t be taken too seriously. For every 1 legit player, there are 10 who are dishonest (cheaters, hackers, ect.). Also this is our house and you are a guest, disrespectful guests are not welcome, as they would not be at your house. As for No Faced Killer I’m with him I will wear my (RAT_PACK) name with pride, as will DarthBudice and Goodtimes. We ARE (RAT_PACK) and will always be.

taking that strictly as i read it because ive never been on your server. i agree completely with what you say. ive made some tough calls on players myself. thinkin. is this guy that good or does he have help. the give away for me is a guy runs into a building. up the stairs around the corner. fires a shot and kills a player who never fired a shot. a few of those and i gota believe he got help and i kick him out. was he just lucky?? i dont know. but i have to go with my gut feeling about it. its the admins job to keep the server as clean as he can. i guess it comes down to this. or at least this is how i justify it to myself. SOMETIMES YOU MUST SACRIFICE A FEW FOR THE GOOD OF ALL. being and amin aint as easy as it looks if your trying to do it right. just my thoughts on the matter.

The new aimbot is rather easy to spot. Skinhackers (ie skins that show thru walls) aren't so easy to spot.. Unless you have the same hack loaded on your system.
A true recommendation of mine for all admins who are 100% dedicated to keeping their server cheat free is to do some research, go find the hack and use it when you spectate players. I've tested a certain cheat and have used it to spectate players I suspected and I have exposed just about as many players as I have seen players who (using the hack) are obviously not cheating. It's all very well saying "Well, he was looking at someone through a wall and shot them before they had a chance to react" but play the game long enough, wear nice headphones and that kind of natural ESP is possible (and I see it all the time). However, load up this cheat, and you can see what they would see if they are cheating. If you see someone through a wall and the player you are spectating ignores them, then you have a non-cheater. It takes about 2 minutes of spectating for this to happen in a busy server. If it doesn't happen and your player follows other players around the map with his crosshair then you have a cheater. Best tool is to use their tools. |

I have been friends with Angel Dust for about a year and he does have a failing with getting a little excited some times. He is a good guy who puts a lot of time in to running a clean server. I love the Tank Mod he put in because it keeps LOSERS from spawn killing over and over again and calling it skill. I do not like the fact that i can not vote for changes on his server. I have never told him this. YOU KNOW WHY???????????? IT'S HIS SERVER!!!!!!!!!!!! If you dont like it dont be a little kiddie and flame just because you can get away with it on the net. Go to another server and get over your little self. Angel Dust is not perfect nor is his server, but it is a great place to game. Maybe at 13 you have not realized yet that online gaming is not real life? It is just for fun. Please don't flame people that don't look for trouble. That shows a real lack of character and maturity. If you dont like the server, then go game somewhere else. And i will say thanks for Angel for all of the free advertising you gave him....lol. I really must say that by Noctis posting a bullsh*t session of a thread pounding on their server (and only having replied 3 times) has turned out for the best. I mean just look at the 3 or 4 of us ADMINS that keep resonding to each other with new ideas and info. It's good to see that the FLAME war didn't last more than 5 posts and the rest are mostly long thought out and honest. Thats a great idea Ydiss and i thank you for the info . I to have "followed" suspected cheaters and it's a tough call alot of times so i know where you guys are coming from. It just sux that some TOOL has to cry and whine about a game so much... it's a game guys. Some people just need to relax.

I have to agree, Noctis didnt have to go make a whole thread dissing you guys because he was kicked. I think you were all just doing what you thought was right, i would have done the same. But after all this that you've said, I have to think again. That is extremely childish of you to get all agrrivated about this (same goes with Noctis) but i mean drop it. Settle this dispute somewhere else.
And what i do to check for cheaters is, i have 2 MOHAA's, one loaded with cheats, the other is cheat free. If i suspect someone is cheating, i quit, load up the cheat MOH, and spectate the suspected player. Its easy to tell, especially if you see them following a guy through a wall with his crosshari. When you see that, i press kick and ban, and hes gone |
