No that is the way it will be for EyeCandy 2.0, running off it's own .exe as with German Assault. The individuals who would tamper with my files and try to integrate them into a regular server would be the cheaters. This is not intended to be used on a regular server. Read the caption on the first post newt, ya F#@king touchhole! This is for EyeCandy.

Scope
I am presently looking for two candidates for the included scopes. Minefield's 1.37 is shown in the screenshots. A scope and crosshair selection during install will not be integrated on the next release. Any suggestions on scopes to be included?

It's an environment shader applied to the weapons, just depends on the reflection .tga's used. The use of the shader will be implemented in the next version of EyeCandy.

looks really nice, i dnot think it can be considered a real cheat if everyone playing on the server uses the same files when they play, then everyone has the same advantage making it all equal

im kinda confused would i have to d/l something to play on your server or who evers and c this stuff or is it all client side and has it been realsed yet??

As far as I know, you would need to run the EyeCandy.exe file (which uses your mohaa.exe as a base) to connect to the EyeCandy server. That way everyone who plays is insured the same experience.

As of now...
At the moment the only available map for EyeCandy is Kirchhof. All the other default maps will be done similar. EyeCandy has too many files that are client side, for this reason the complete versions will have a server pk3 included. The next version to be released is 2.0 over 1000 files, est. size 70MB, not including server pk3. Everyone will finally be able to play a conversion online. Again this is a project that has no final release planned.
The latest available release is 1.2, which you can use on any server, regardless of mods. At the moment it can only be found as a registered member of the EyeCandy Forum. I am probably going to make the next version available to all, but if you're not registered you will not be notified of updates. |

The next version will have absolutely no effect on any mods that you would like to use in a regular mohaa server or in singleplayer. If you remember how German Assault was created, zip files are used with it's own menu and data stored in your main folder that is not readable by the alliedassault.exe. You could have both exe's on your desktop and start either at your leisure without moving any files.

this project may need to be cancelled, not something i would like to do. Unfortunately i see no way of being able to protect the contents of the mod from being ported into a seperate pk for normal server use, hence a new cheat. Below is a quick .avi for you to see in game:

As of now I am now exactly sure what is going to be added in that would replace your current mods. That being skins, sounds, and blood. But most likely some will be overwritten with the mod.

I can say now that the possibilty of making this mod available, very slim. I donot want to add to the arsenal of cheats available.
If everyone could agree that it would not be a problem i would gladly make this available, untill then it will reside on a floppy. |

what about a scope that only zooms in where the scope should show, and does not zoom in on areas outside of the scope, but it would still be fullscreen...it would look like you're aiming with both eyes open and it would help you see who's entering your sight... don't get it? heres my mspaint drawing...
