CKR 1.1 : MG-Whores Be Gone.
 

I have heard alot of complaining lately on various sites, about everyone using only MGs while playing with CKR 1.1. So, I took it upon myself to make a fix for all of this complaining. For those of you who could live without the godly MGs, I have for you CKR 1.1 with the MGs removed from the equation.

Make sure you read the Readme!.txt attached. Also, if you want to actually run this on your server, simply put CKR (noMG) or something to that effect, in your servername so that clients will know what is going on.

Only remove the stg for realism. The Bar was used by the us throughout the whole war.. the stg wasn't.

Dosen't matter. By removing both, noone can complain.

i dunno. i mean ppl block shoties, block rockets, now ppl r blocking mgs. whats next? thats half of the weapons! besides if u play in matches ur not aloud to block mgs and stuff unless the other ppl agree are u?

oh yeah and ppl call me a n00b for using an smg all the time 2!

who gives a shit about what people conplain about. geezsus now mgs are gone? i give you respect powell for making the mod. but serriously this is getting outa hand.

I don't see much bars in-game :P ever :P there's more stg44 users.. I think people jus use bars to even it out when there's too many stg44 uses.. I think the bar should stay. Make it's firerate even slower if you want to. biggrin:

meh i like thae challenge. once i walked into the control room in mohaa and there were 3 MGers and i had my trusty Garand. i blew them all to hell!!

and if the StG is gone all axis will have is smgs. or else rifles but for most ppl they dont work 2 well cus a lot of ppl cant aim while the M1 kicks.

I don't think removing the MG is the solution. Some people like using it because of the sound, handling, whatever. It just shouldn't be as powerful as it is in the regular CKR. And I wouldn't complain if there were lots of stock servers, because then I had a choice.

But now, every bloody (clan)server has CKR installed. They think it is cool to have it, and have grown to like it. And, instead of a battle with various weapons, it is an MG-whoring (read: STG-whoring, in most cases) fest when there are lots of n00bs around, or an SMG happening when there are more experienced players in the server. Everybody here says they like the rifle. Some people I do believe, some are full of shit. Because if this forum was to be a representation of the real ( oOo: ) world, there should be a lot of riflers around. And there are not. All I see in (any) CKR servers is MG (>50%), SMG (>30%), some sniper rifles and, occasionally, a rifle. It is not a rarity that I am the only rifler in the server, losing big-time of course.

On (good) stock servers I encounter the rifle much more often. You may guess why that is. You can leave most public servers out of this comparison, since that's all cheating, binding, shotguns, rockets, etc.

I wish CKR was never invented, sigh.
