im getting a piece of meat from my body put on my right ring finger, from a work accident....(ground the top of my finger off on a grind wheel)

it kind of sucks because im finnished from there in september to go to school, and was counting the days but now im going to have an insane scar on my finger as a reminder of that dump of a hell hole of a job!! cry:

Arkan 05-23-2003 04:50 PM

ahh fuck it, cut the bastard off...you have nine more !!

Tripper 05-23-2003 04:51 PM

Make sure they don't take skin from your inner ass cheeks, otherwise you'll have big thick brown hairs growing out of your fingers! oOo:

Chicks dig scars cool:

CaP bUsTa 05-23-2003 06:00 PM

i've got plastic surgery on my ear. Its not that bad, and dont worry, if you get a skin graph from your ass you wont have hair growing on your finger.

Slaggg 05-23-2003 06:01 PM

that's an old one Sclass. How does it go? Pain is temporary, Bones heal, and Chicks dig scars. Old skater's mantra.

ninty 05-23-2003 06:02 PM

Don't think its true. I ahev about 12 inches of scars total, and girls never seem to really like it.

Slaggg 05-23-2003 06:03 PM

LOL. damn, you get run over or what?

Slaggg 05-23-2003 06:09 PM

btw, the LOL doesn't apply to your scarring. Just the way you posted your reply. Blatent and matter of fact.

where are they, some hidden nook where no one will find them?

ninty 05-23-2003 06:15 PM

Meh, I don't care.

It's a hockey injury...i'm a relativley small guy, 5'7" 130lbs, especially for hockey. I went for the puck along the boards and some big ass Indian (native Indian, not east indian) about 6" 200lbs and smashed my arm into the boards. I managed to duck the check but my left arm got in the way cause i was trying to flip the puck up. I broke both the Ulna and Radius in my forearm and had to have surgery. So the scars come from the doctor cutting my arm to shreds to install metal plates and screws. Fun fun fun. The worst part about it was I was in grade 11 at the time and the day it happened was the first day of Christmas vacation. I wore a cast for two weeks and the day I went back to school I got my cast off. That totally blew.

CaP bUsTa 05-23-2003 06:20 PM

boo fuckin hoo
last summer i broke my arm on the may long weekend in edmonton. They set it, said it was fine and sent me home. 4 weeks later in calgary i go to get my cast changed and they xray it and decide that they didnt set it properly in edmonton so I have to stay overnight and get surgery. They put pins in it, and I have a cast on for another 9 weeks. That is my whole summer, i got the cast off a week before school started.

You are a fucking dumb shit. Please kill yourself.

Did you ever realize that people grow to different heights? Maybe you should open your fucking eyes. I'm 19 now and i'm still 5"7'. I might have been a little shorter then. Maybe 5"6'.

So how tall are you going to be? If your 13 now, and keep growing until your 18, that 5 years * your average of 5.3 inches per year plus your original height, which turns out to be 7"9'. So are you going to be a basketball player or something? Maybe just a big fucking stupid oaf? That sounds better.

05-23-2003 07:06 PM

hate basketball, and I was just noticing his height. And calm down, will ya?

CaP bUsTa 05-23-2003 07:17 PM

he hasnt hit puberty yet, i dont see why you guys are taking his claims seriously oOo:

Tripper 05-23-2003 07:34 PM

I'm around 6'1" and most of my friends have a few inches on me..... oOo:

05-23-2003 09:23 PM

Well, since somehow everyone is talking about their Height, I'm about 5"7 now, and only around 100 lbs.

You guys both got off light compared to my buddy. He broke his arm in a motorcycle accident and broke his arm in 6 places in the four inches by his elbow. Totally twisted the elbow joint up to. He has a matching pair of 11" scars on one arm, top and bottom and will never regain full use of it (maybe 80% now).

Old Reliable 05-23-2003 10:48 PM

you guys think you have it tough? i had to get up to get the tv controller today.

ya that sucks, but we are all well off.
I mean think about all those people who die everyday, sucks most for them

Bazooka_Joe 05-24-2003 12:39 AM

Dunno if you answered this, but does your job pay for it?

[quote="Bazooka_Joe":6245a]Dunno if you answered this, but does your job pay for it?[/quote:6245a]

yes they do pay for it, plus i hear i will get comp'ed for it to....
for losing the nail and the nerve damage done to the finger

not sure how much i will get comp'ed but im guessing it will be alot of $$,$$$.00, but trust me, its not worth the money!

05-24-2003 12:47 AM

you can always sue, saying there was no clear warning or sign that said sticking your finger under blade and shoving it down will sever it off biggrin:

ninty 05-24-2003 10:37 AM

Sigh...he cannot sue. By accepting workers comp you relieve the employer of having the chance of getting sued. That is what workers comp is for.

You guys need to do research before you speak, because a lot of what you say seems to be wrong.
