ActionBlaster Servers down, anyone know whats up with them?
 

We rent a server from them and it's been down for a couple of days now and so is their website.

I'm just wondering if anyone knows whats going on with them.

Are they still in business or did they bail out?

Our server has been down since Wed. too. I'm not sure what the deal is but they better come up with a free month. That is if they are still in buisness.

i dont know what the problem is ..ours has been doun for days ..with no response to the phone calls ive made or the email i sent ..its geting old ..and im seriously considering going with praygrounds servers ..

lol well this is news to me, I rented a server from them since February and didnt get a bill till late in may, and it was only for one month...looks like I can keep the excess server money! biggrin:

exactly, their fucking website was under construction for a year, only nice thing was you could start/stop/restart your server from their webpage....

So which server company are you going with?

Our clan looked at using them at one point. We saw the complaints on their website about how long it took for some to get setup. Also as someone said their site had been under construction forever. I talked to the owner at one point, it was a negative experience. The whole thing just seemed to be kind of a basement operation to us. Maybe it isn't but that's the way it seemed. We felt it could go away at any time.. poof..gone.. and that's just what happened.

I also questioned his decision to not up the price for Spearhead servers given the high CPU usage other site touted, don't get me wrong I think it's great that there was a reasonable alternative but either they were all full of it and taking advantage of the gaming community, or he didn't know what he was doing. Probably a bit of both.

Anyway, as I said, it always seemed a bit rinky dink to me, no offense to those that used it, their prices were reasonable, but we passed.

Man.. sorry about the multiple posts. AA was having problems when I tried to submit, kept giving errors.

preygrounds.com...why in the world are the so low in cost? 20 bucks less a month for the standerd 16 man server and just over 100 for a 32 man server? thats awesome...but real suspicious to me. why is it so cheap? anyone actually utulizing a service from preygrounds.com? if so, whats your thoughts?

This is what we're going to be switching too, they have the best prices and the best deals, you get a dedicated teamspeak server with your game server and its only 65 bucks a month for a 22 man server and only 45 a month for a 16 man server, you can't beat those prices!

man i got hooked up with preygrounds ..and im the proud owner of there first spearhead server ..these are some great ppl ..teck suport when you nead it ..and all the help you could ask for ..actionblaster going under was the best thing ever to hapen to our clan ..cause we hooked up with preygrounds ..props to ohmz for the hard weok he did geting our server running ..
