Almost forgot:
There will be a large release, tentatively set for August, consisting of: All custom textures, prefabs and models. All new skins and sounds. Prone position. All new weapons, including a portable mortar and new FT. New play modes (CTF and class-based objective). Maps (FFA, TDM, CTF, and objective, along with bots). Altogether about 100 meg of goodies. There will be subsequent releases of new maps and updates for several months after. |

i think u guys have the same problem we r having in the modern warfare mod
we want it to run like a nother game i think that is what u r trying to do |
We figured out how to do seperate executables about 2 months ago, but the legal and logistic issues make it undesirable.

Everything looks so cool and I can't wait for it, I have the marine and navy skins downloaded on my comp from your site...and wow they are amazing! But I have a question, if you could unlock the prone animation from the mohaa single player, is there anyway u can unlock the "salute" animations, so we could salute each other, it might sound corny but I think it could be kinda cool, especially if you could figure out how to to it because it could also be applied to alliedassault, and nothing would be cooler then seeing a german soldier do his nazi salute after he killed someone...just a thought...

We wanted to be further along with the mod before we put up a website. We are working on one, but there is lots of info and discussion in our forum (Pacific Mod) on TMT. Everyone is welcome. This isn't really "our" mod; anyone is welcome to join and contribute in anyway they can. Nothing to join, leave when you want. Contribute a map, some textures, research, scripting, whatever you wish. So far we have over 40 contributors.
There are no maps available for DL to the public until our release date in August. But contributors get test releases and can play on our HITP test servers. Images of the 3 maps and features found in our first test release were posted to a number of sites (including this one) in May. |

We can unlock the salute animations easily enough. It's finding an event to trigger them that is difficult. EA has not given us any way to tell when a player has made a kill or what weapon was used.
We have been using prone position for over a month and although it isn't perfect, it is a viable game feature and will be included. |
Can u just have the salute bound to a key then beacause if you wee shooting at 2 people, if you killed one then automatically went to salute them you would be shot to shit. hve it bound to a key then it can be used to respect the dead, or respect a team maye when he plants a bomb, saves your ass, makes a good kill etc, or as a taunt.

In any mod, the time it takes to create the maps is about 10 times as long as everything else, so you have people losing interest, waiting on mappers. Having little projects like this is good. It gives people something to do. It keeps interest up. It adds little details to the mod that add up in the finished product.
