Unknown_Sniper 06-11-2003 01:33 PM

you dont deserve to say they dont deserve what they rightfulyl deserve.

ED 06-11-2003 01:34 PM

I think Nirvana was good, but there are songs I think should have been on there. As it is this looks like the most SUCCESFUL songs with a splash of influential.

There is no way that NO Radiohead song or NIN or Smashing Pumpkins song cant have been on this list of top 50. As it is it looks like RH comes in at 80-something.

Bleah.

Bean 2 06-11-2003 02:02 PM

And if ur gonna put an eminem song on their, at least put 'Stan' because i think thats hes only decent song. The rest are crap and how could they not put smashing pumpkins and i didnt see metallica. I could be mistaken. Also I think Nirvana is overated. Yes they were considered good and brought about a new age in music but personally i didnt like their music.

Zap. USMC 06-11-2003 02:25 PM

Hanson, yeah!!!!!!!!!

MMMBOP, do-a-bop, do-it-on, boom-bop!!!!

Metallica took the 88th spot with Enter Sandman. Jesus, like they dont have an arsenal full of songs 100 times better.

hake:

Gonzo 06-11-2003 02:42 PM

i dont think Nirvana was that great i thought they sucked. imo

Art Attack 06-11-2003 02:49 PM

NO SLEEP till brooklyn!

Office Depot 06-11-2003 02:54 PM

..the hell kinda list is that. this shit right here just is stupid

87) The Who - Who Are You (should be much higher than all the crappy songs down here VVV )

85) Eminem - My Name Is
81) OutKast - Ms. Jackson
79) Destiny’s Child - Say My Name

thats just one problem, but anyone else agree that modern music just plain sucks compared to the older stuff? i mean there's just no thought put into the lyrics or anything, it's all like "yo bitch, i slapped your pussy up" with some stupid music in the background. give me the rolling stones, boston, led zepplin, or give me death.

9mm BeRetTa 06-11-2003 02:57 PM

35) The Sugarhill Gang - Rapper’s Delight

YEA!!! ...I said hip, hop, hippy, to the hippy to the hip hip hop you dont stop a rockin to the bang bang boogie say up jump the boogie to the rhythm of the boogie to beat...

As for oombop that shouldnt even be in the top 100 songs of the year it was made.

Shut The Fuck Up.....You obviously don't know shit.

OutKast are one of the greatest hiphop groups ever, every album they have released has been accepted as truly great music.

I bet you don't even know what Ms. Jackson is REALLY about. hake:

...I think they did a reasonably good job with the list. All peoples music tastes are appealed too.

You guys are so fucking dillusional, you obviously think the world revolves around you, and the music you listen too. In case you haven't noticed, not everyone listens to old rock music. If they got rid of those Hanson songs and all that other shit, then the people that like THAT music would be whining like you guys.
Take another look at it and realise that they have done a reasonably good job at capturing the last 25 years of music.

still marginally better than MTV, who just caters to stupid teenagers who don't remember any songs that are over 5 years old oOo:

Akuma 06-12-2003 04:18 AM

No Black Metal..... cry:
