It would be nice to see someone release a mod where if hit with a grenade, the characters to explode etc, but hitting them with shotguns/machine guns etc, there deffinately shouldnt be gibs.
Although i wish they put blood in the final game, its just not a gory type of game. Blood patches etc work fine.

Well i dont see shooting two SMG bullet's would blow off a limb but shooting the limb down to the bone would be cool and yea the blood splashing on the walls when you get sniped in the neck and being MG'd in the chest but 2015 could have upped the puff effect on both axis and allies with a dash of blood

Agreed! Game play is most important!
The graphics of pac-man didnt make it any less a hit. I suppose if ole Pacman shit out the ghosts and pellets yall woulda liked it more.
I went threw many many rolls of nickles playing Pong whilst my old man got drunk at the local bar. I never noticed the graphics sucked.
Its real sad that just about any game thats pretty is a hit ala Everquest. Ultima Online was sooo much funner then EQ ever was but people wont play UO cause its still 2d. They wont even try it to see.
Its all about gameplay goddamn it.

Do you guys feel 2015 and EA have acheived the opposite of cutting blood from the game.

I feel it encourages violence more, without seeing the effects and reality of what we are doing to those poor Germans and those poor Americans.

what do u guys think? I feel there should be blood splashing on walls and guys loosing limbs like SoF.

I think this Game could have used blood,kinda like what the blood mod does....
but I DON'T think that the game should have "gibs" or an overaccessive amount of blood.I have installed the first blood mod,and I think that it helps me to aim better.as I mostly use the tommy/mp40 in combat..the red "puff" tells me that I am hitting my target...the gray puff gets a bit blurred at longer ranges....I wouldn't have cared WHAT color they had changer the body puff to as long as it was brighter than gray.........Because at longer ranges the gray puff sorta "blends" with the background..

I don't want gibs at all. The red puff from the blood patch is realistic enough for me. Kind of reminds me of Metal Gear Solid.

I agree that it helps having blood in the game it lets you know how accurate you are shooting and gives you a little bit more satisfaction

And, oddly enough, Saving Private Ryan is fiction to.

Of course it should have blood and gibs ya yellow bellies. The game is marketed as a realistic ww2 game. So therefore we have a right to expect gibs and blood.
But the game isn't that good anyway. I managed to finish it in 3 days and the level of overhype is only bettered by a Star Wars film.

Oddball, Saving Private Ryan was _based_ on actual events. Doesn't make it fact. And I was merely pointing out that Saving Private Ryan is in fact, a movie, and should be viewed as such.

Deficator, I have never read anywhere that this was marked as a realistic WW2 game. If you can find a place where EA or 2015 said it was a realistic WW2 game, I will stand corrected.

Bahhh the smoke puffs look pretty freakin good to me and that's pretty well much all you would see if you shot someone in the chest. Not that im against having blood stains on the clothing after a shooting but spurting blood looks stupid. I do not plan on installing a blood patch unless it is just a stain on the models clothing.

and gibs are the most fucking pathetic thing ever introduced to FPS, sure limbs get blown off in battle but for a body to explode like that...well it just doesn't happen.

Err there actually was a mission ordered by the Joint Cheif of Staff to rescue a soldier who had lost 3 of his borthers and send him home.

Oddly enough WWII actually happened. Doesn't matter whether the mission wasn't authentic. Omaha beach happened right?

It should have blood like in Saving Private Ryan, that would be cool!
