i like the mp-40 although it looks so flimsy it could almost break in your hands. I think the RTCW mp-40 liks much more robust..

So Far you Have A Good Idea about the Weapons in the game. Tell everyone what yours is and why you chose that weapon. Then maybe you could add some experiences you had in the game with that weapon...

Mine is the Mauser KAR98 because it has one hell of a mean shot, and when you get that head shot, you can feel their pain!!

Depends.
If I'm playing Allies and it's all bum-rush style, I use the Thompson. If it's a little subdued with more team tactics, I'll go with the BAR for a little better long range accuracy.
Axis for me is all about the sub-machine gun.

i'd have to go with the thompson for melee and any other situations involving shorto moderate range engagement. i use the springfield sniper rifle for long range or precision shooting/sniping.

Thompson because I like to rush and its great in close quarters. Second would be the M1.

The M-1 as well. I too love the kinnngggg sound, and just sounds and feels like all those M-1 rifles in the old movies.

In terms of the game itself I like it best because you can use it like a sniper rifle and pick people of from far away, you can also use it as an assult weapon because it fires at a fast rate.

Of course I only play in the Realistic Damage servers. I think it is pretty worthless in the normal servers.

Depends on the situation and types of people you are playing and how the match is going. Overall, I like the Thompson best since it is a good general purpose gun and the M1 2nd . If German I prefer the SMG then a close 2nd would be the MP-40.

For some of us, it is better to remain safe hidding somewhere and hitting the enemy and he doesnt know where the hell the shoot came from.

also, as snipers say, one shoot, one kill.

So the Springfield is the best, however in case of close combat, the rate of fire and large clip ot the STG 44 is the best, however you can finish quickly an enemy hitting his head with even the weak MP44.

The BAR should be used as a quick firing suport emplaced gun where the shooter can be trenched to cover their open field combat compadres. the penetration power of the BAR is significant so you can support the advance of frontline troops from behind. that is why most of war BARs came equiped with bypods, but not in MOHAA, in comparition of heavy machine guns as .50´s .30´s or german MG´s it is easy to operate and handle a BAR.

The most important problem the BAR presents in real life is that it isn´t easy to change barrels to prevent them of overheating, so short burts has to be done and you have to keep the gun cool, i hope this will be present in MOHAA
