jimi hendrix - all along the watchtower - 2:15 into the song

pure sweetness

what are some spots in other songs that you just have to skip back to and listen to again and again and again?

Akuma 06-20-2003 04:18 AM

Dimmu Borgir - Sympozium
First 30 seconds. Good use of the symphony and creepy singing.
1:45-2:16 Great riffs.

Dimmu Borgir - Hybrid Stigmata- The Apostasy
0-1:20 Good use of the symphony and creepy singing.
5:44-5:53 Good riffs mixed with the symphony with no singing.

Extol - Undeceived
First 32 second. Nice violin work.

Opeth - Blackwater Park
5:14 Music accually starts.

Many more but those were close together on the play list.

don't know why it can only be good if a metal band is in it

Public Enemy are amazing.

Rap can be good without metal bands in it. Infact rap is better without metal bands.

chemical brothers - out of control 4:25 until 5:20

infected mushroom - bust a move 6:05 until the end

guns and roses - november rain 7:09 until the end

Yeah, Bring Tha Noize is a Fucking brilliant song.

It was 1991 too, so I say fuck all that Nu-Metal shit, this is where it's at....Also that DMC with Aerosmith song from 1984, Walk This Way, is a cool song....Paved the way for today's shit.

Slaggg 06-21-2003 12:48 AM

good question, depends on my mood I suppose. right now I'd have to say Maiden's 'Rime of the Ancient Mariner' from 7:35 on and SRV's version of 'Little Wing' from 0:00 on.

I've been meaning to get that song so far my personal favorite Maiden song is "The wicker man"

Sicilian_Summers 06-21-2003 10:18 AM

Metallica - Creeping Death - about 3:40 into the song. This is memorable because my art teacher told me about how deeply involved the audience was with this song. EVERYONE would shout "DIE!" repeatedly as is said in the song around this time.

Personally, I love the Chorus of "Pink Floyd - Brain Damage". Magnificent. Also, "Us and Them" is champion too

3:38 into Whiplash by JFK.
