Your Though on Hackers?

Well, what is your though on hackers,

do you think they just wanna break into a system and steal everything there and do damage. Well if your one of those people you a fool, the media has blown the word hacker right out of proportion. Hackers dont want to do damage they just want to learn about computers etc... Crackers are the ones who do the real damage in this world.

As I am a hacker myself evil: I know alot of people into hacking and they dont cause any damage, and if you have become a hacker who wants to right Trojans and cause damage ur a fuck head. A dictionary would define a hacker as a someone who wants to gain information illegally. WRONG!

and also....

A person who gets into hacking and just uses trojans, and programs and they thing there are a hacker. They are not, they are a script-kiddie.

A real hacker will learn programming languages, read read and read

well those are my thoughs on hacking but wat are your please leave your replies

also a great PC Security Website (hacking and cracking)

i used to be really into the password cracking. im long since retired from that now though.

06-24-2003 08:10 AM

well, if someone gains illegal acess into my machines even if they don't do anything, that's like them breaking into my house, or those damned kids whop try to ride bikes on my lawn.
In short, I try to track them down, and hopefully find their real life address evil: M16:

Hackers are actually people who do "good".

Crackers are the "bad buys" who destroy files and steal stuff...

Strik0r 06-24-2003 08:48 AM

erm...crackers are good...they make those "special" files i use for my games

elstatec 06-24-2003 09:04 AM

Old Reliable 06-24-2003 09:47 AM

i've been dubbed a hacklet

but in that hacking thing I needed a hint to pass every level but 1

Ydiss 06-24-2003 11:58 AM

It's like anything in life. If someone is an expert at advanced mathematics but doesn't use it for anything that remotely interests me, who cares?

Awesome at Science? Great. What do you do? Stack samples tubes all day? That's nice.

Hackers don't particularly impress me but I don't really have a negative opinion of them.

I'm just very glad I am not a hacker. If I were I'd not be where I am today and I'm fairly happy with that.

And saying hackers are not trouble makers is like saying armed robbers aren't murderers. Some are, some aren't, but they both break the law.

Bean 2 06-24-2003 12:03 PM

When you have to blundgeon someone over the head with a joke, it officially becomes un-fucking-funny.

Zap. USMC 06-24-2003 04:06 PM

Most Crackers need to get a fuckin' life and re-think a few things... sitting on a computer all day and making programs to destroy computers is stupid and down right arrogant.

FUCK YOU CRACKA!

Sgt.Amerex=C.P.B.= 06-24-2003 04:09 PM

a site that i frequent was attacked by hackers. so i am not happy with hackers at the moment.

Going to court in a week - THEN getting a jail sentence. Gotcha. May as well buy a dildo and start breaking in that asshole.

Zap. USMC 06-24-2003 05:23 PM

hahaha !

You're stupid to brag about hacking Simo... now you got the shaft.

O71394658 06-24-2003 05:30 PM

I'll laugh at him if he lands in jail. I might even send him some cookies...for him and his "friends".

Strik0r 06-24-2003 05:32 PM

[quote="Simo Häyhä":65d7a]hacking is a love of knowledge[/quote:65d7a]

Very true.

A hacker will, by definition, test the limits of a system and upon discovering
a bug or backdoor, will report it to the program writer. The individual also has
a fondness for increasing his knowledge of everything computer related, has a
knack for programming and lives a (usually) solitary life, being the fat, ugly
midget he is ;-)

I salute the little troopers...

Unknown_Sniper 06-24-2003 10:11 PM

I wouldnt mind being able ot hack. Be kinda cool to see what others are doing etc. Being able ot play with a friends comp to annoy him but really do no harm. I have a ? for simo before he gets arrested. I go to school wiht a kid whos dad is like hte president of PC connection magizine. I think thats hte one. Anyways I heard he has a firewall/ anti hacking program that traces the hacker down. Fucks up their comps. Then to make it worse. IT traces their IP and searches for it IRL and takes a picture from a satalite, emails it to the victim and to the hacker. OR somethign like that. Maybe I combined to different programs. You ever heard of it/ encountered it?

SoLiDUS 06-24-2003 10:17 PM

The NSA can do far worse things... mwah:
