REAL Delta pictures
 

Does any one have any real 1st SOD-Delta photos, or know any where I could find some? I've been searching for a while, but have only found one confirmed real pic of Delta.

yeah, that's the only one i've been able to find too...

I found one other just now on bhd93.com, but you only see part of the guy's head.

Also, this is a widely distributed pic, I think it was determined by the guys at Militaryphotos.net that the guy on the far left is 10th Mountain, the two guys in the middle are *probably* Delta (Note the Shotgun on Delta to the left), the guy in the back is also 10th Mountain, and the guy to the far right is Air Force CCT.

Yeah, those two guys could be Delta. The guy on the far right appears to have some sort of insignia on his sleeve, so he's probably not Delta.

Elite special forces comparable to UK SAS or Canadian JTF-2.

Delta Force is one of those government things that "will not be confirmed nor denied" it exists. They are a secretive bunch who don't like the cameras. Hell, there is probably a team on a mission somewhere in the world right now as I type.

Without a doubt. In fact i would gurantee you there is more than one out there. I gurantee there is a lot of them in Iraq and Afghanistan right now.

delta is like JTF-2 but delta is american and jtf-2 is canadian both EXTREMELY secretice. i know that jtf-2 is a counter-terrorist team i dono boutt delta though

Actually I think that might be an arm pocket, I'm not sure.

Oh, and whoever is interested in Delta Force, read Delta Force, by C. Beckwith, the creator of Delta....kind of slow at the beginning but then it picks up and goes all the way to Desert One.

I remember that pic. Funny story about that.

That was from Afghanistan. The defence minister said that Canadian Forces were not handing over Taliban/Al Quedia to the US because of the Genevia convention and some legal bullshit etc. And they said Special Forces was not working in Afghanistan and they cannot release any information. Next day big ass picture of JTF-2 handing over those guys to the US on the front page of every major canadian newspaper in the counry. The Defence minister had to resign. He was a dck anyway. It was funny.

Yeah, they are counter-terrorist, hostage rescue (maybe, not sure. I know the Marines have a hostage rescue team at Quantico) but snatch and grab missions seem to be their real specialty.
