What are your thoughts on death?
 

What are your views on it? I'm asking cause a guy I knew just died over the weekend...he left a party, was seen on the rail road tracks, while a train blew it's whistle and couldn't stop, he never got up...he was killed...they say drinking was involved at the party...anyways, he was Senior, when I was a freshmen, I'll be a jr this year...anyways...I talked to him somewhat when I was in my 2nd hour - Business in A Global Economy class with him, he was the funniest kid alive...anyways

What are your thoughts on death? Do you accept it, or believe when it's your time, it's your time...?

Yeah, I used anyways a lot, I was in that class first semester, just telling you...I don't know why.

The human body isn't eternal. When you die, you die. I don't believe in Heaven, Hell, Nervana, Reincarnation, or anything like that. Just accept it and go on with your life. You can't stop death so there is no point in dwelling on it.

People are always like youre not afraid of death? And I tell em how can you be afraid if you dont even know it hit you? Doesn't make sense when youre dead youre dead. End of fairy tale.

I am not afraid of death cause i know it is inevitable. If i died tomorrow i wouldnt be very upset cause my life pretty much sucks. I just hope there is no such thing as heaven and hell cause i think i know were ill be headed.

I don't care as long as I go "all at once"

that is my mind doesn't go nuts before I die (like some elderly people)
or I don't lose bodily functions when my mind is aware of that fact.


In short I'd like to go like Bob Hope, he was healthy and had his mental faculties intact right up to the end

If there isn't, meh....I won't be shocked. I'll just be dead.

i dont dwell on death some time i may start to wonder whats gonna happen to me but i just hope i dont go by disease or a non natrual death but that seem inpossible these days.

Yeah, death doesn't worry me. To me I think of death as a change; a transition if you will. Not in the stupid religion way though. I think we are part of an eternal wisdom we will never understand. An eternal wisdom that doesn't reward, punish or prophesize, it just is. Like when a dog sees you washing dishes, he doesn't know what you're doing but he's damned sure interested.

Anywho, I hope when I die I'd be so mangled and mutilated that I'd be able to fit into a standard mail envelope. That's the way to go man, hopefully I'm rich and manage to buy a Ferrari and go for a cruise and slam into a cement wall at 260km/h. I hope the coroner has to chisel my rib cage off of the wall with a jackhammer.

I'v died once... On the way to the hosptial, I stoped breathing, for a short while. Was when I was a younger, so I don't remember.

I believe in Jesus Christ, so when I die I know where I am going, I just hope I go in a neat way. What would be cool is if I would go crazy, move to the northwest woods, and talk to the animals and eat tree bark till it killed me!

There's been a lot of death in my mom and I's lives. I've had an uncle and a step-grandfather die in a span of 2 years. My mother's roommate was brutally murdered with a knife. My view on death is that you shouldn't think about it unless it's really necessery. The way T.V and things have portrayed death is as a joke. Would you think it a joke if somebody made a crack on your grandma if she just died? I'm certain I would dislike it in the highest matter. Well, there's my mind on death.

Astral Projections scare the fuck out of me... because they sure as hell are
real. I unwillingly went through one after hitting the event horizon (when the
energy body is completely charged and your consciousness transfers to that
body) and it lasted a good 30 seconds. When I came to, I remembered only
bits and pieces but the main thing was that I left through my room window
after seeing myself lying on the bed... and I flew over my house, to the street
and finally to the park entrance where it ended and I blacked out back to my
original conscious life. Very interesting, if scary, experience...

Nah i dont mind death. I dont think about it much since i have other things to do, like live. I prefer to tempt death rather than fear or attempt to accept it, let alone understand it. When im 30 and dead if theres some sort after life i'll try to haunt one of you or something. So in 10 years if your not haunted, you know the truth.
