Well yesterday I was doing the laundry all was going well... and the BOOM! My fingers caught in that little lip on the handle and gets twisted all funny and it was instant finger fall asleep. fire1: fire1: fire1:

at work i had to lift 32 bags of ice from a wierd position, my back hurts now

I got out of bed this afternoon - phew!

Spraining my ankle when playing basket-ball...

Granted, it only happened twice, but fuck! biggrin:

I got punched in the fucking temple a week ago - still hurts like hell when I chew.

why did u get punched

working in the shop, was carring a large sheet of metal, it slipped & went straight down trought the palm of my hand. it had been cut with a plasma torch so all the chucks of metal were loged in my hand. had to dig them out with the point off one of those things that draw circles. ow

I did that in high school,
I had first hour gym and I was stupid enough to stay in class instead of trying to get out early for "medical reasons"

by 6th hour (I was TA for chemistry class so I had to be on my feet) I could barely move around, fortunately my teacher (also a basketball coach) noticed and relieved me of usual duties.

i think i busted a vein in my eyeball lifting today oOo: it still hurts

i broke my nose a week ago in my soccer game
soccer is tough eek:

Most recent injury?
Tore up my knee while ripping the roof off my house. I just bandaged the hell out of it and continued to work. Went to the hospital the next day.
Fucker still hurts but i'm over it.

I pulled a muscle in my forearm while masturbating to teenage amateur asian lesbian tribidsim sex fighting......

Try working at a place filled with 150 Straight Edge 12 year old Emo kids.....It's rather painful.

3 things

1. was lifting and a 45 pund weight nails my big toe, was all bloody, hurt like hell

I pulled a muscle in my back while doing squats at football training, i was ready to put up the bar back up but then i slipped on the fucking wood floor, hurts like a bitch

Dropped an impact wrench on my big tow one time. Toe hurt for weeks while the bllod under the nail slowly grew out.

I get injuries just about every week because I play rugby....so various scratches, bumps and bruises but nothing major.

Aged 7 I managed to trip whilst running and smashed my face into a brick wall at full tilt. Woke up about 20 minutes later gushing blood from my upper lip - took about 3 weeks for the swelling to go down - can you say Elephant Man?

Aged 18 I was playing football and, yet again at full tilt, ran into a mate and we smacked foreheads together. My eyebrow took 11 stiches to fix and was hanging open for about 4 hours. He only had 7 stiches, lucky bastard.

The anasthetic ran out half way through the stiching, too, so I felt about 7 of them. It was a case of deciding between feeling the needle being pulled through my eyebrow or more injections into my upper eye.

Fun.

Oh, and I've woken up during an opperation when I was about 5, too. That was nasty.

I've managed to stay out of hospital since, except for the obvious impending baby situation with the girlfriend.

No matter how much pain I and you all have been through, I don't envy what she'll have to go through within the next few weeks biggrin:

ok, some fast ones.

Had a knife go through my foot.
Got slashed behind my arm that required stitches.
Knee surgery
Abdectomy surgery
Hernia surgery
broken nose
broken foot
several broken fingers
broken hand
tore ligament in left ankle that can't be repaired
tore open foot that required many stitches but went to the dr too late (next day). Was told they couldn't stitch so butterfly stitch tape held things together
got a nasty cut on my palm that again required stitches. I just squeezed the fucker together and taped it up. Got a nice scar from it.

Thats all i can remember for now. Oh, all these happened at different times from one another. When i play, i play rough!!

I slit a flap of my finger off, but then went to get it looked at and the guy wanted to see under the flap to make sure it was clean enough, so he stuck a big needle straight into the slit in my finger and pumped a painkiller in. That was probably the worst pain I've ever had.

I also got punched in the temple and Tripper is right, that hurts really bad, it felt like I had my head in a vice for like 3 hours afterward

lol 8ace, I've never broken a bone in my body but have split my head open twice, 1st one was falling down the stairs when I was a lil one (which must've been fuckin funny to watch), other was falling off my bike onto a big bad concrete road.

Thankfully I've manged to keep out of the wars, nothing else to report really cept right now I've had a bad headache for over a week non-stop, been told its not a tumour or meningitis though oOo:

got e pen stapped into my hand when i was in kindergarten
got a dart thrown between my eyes (literally)
got a dart stabbed into my right hand
was about to dunk and got slammed down by the opposition and landed on

my face while playing street ball (I can jump about 20 centimieters straight up)

wasn't careful and threw a knife on my foot and it went in 1 cm and cut through a vein

got kicked in the nuts by some broad that thought i was groaping her

was playing around at home and broke a lamp (cut myself 2 cm deep on my right hand)

we were playing around at work and a friend accidently cut my wrist and hit a vain (blood gushed everywhere)

got a bit of my ear clipped off thanks to a newbie hair dresser who wasn't paying attention

and i guess that's about it..........other then that I didn't get any serious injuries oOo:

Its not nasty when you wake up during surgery.
I've had 6 operations and I woke up during one of them, and when you wake up you are so drowsy and disoriented from the high powered medication that you cant even feel the pain. I just woke up, threw up, and they put the little mask back on me and sleepy sleepy.

Lucky you.

I awoke and could feel the sucker right at the back of my throat. It was insanely uncomfortable and I did feel pain. All I could feel was this sucker at the back of my throat, dry mouth, bright light and I couldn't move or do a thing.

All I could manage was a weak wail as I tried to call out, I think. As you said they must have dropped me back down quite quickly, but it seemed to last forever.

I remember it vividly, even now, after what must be about 20 years. Nasty is accurate.

what kind of surgery where u having that had them put a sucker all the way down your throat oOo:

The chance of being awake during surgery scares me a hell of a lot more than just about any injury or death.

I heard there's a new brain scanning thingy that tells them if you're awake or not, I'll have to remember to insist that they use it if I need surgery.
also make it quite clear that if I'm awake during, someone will end up with a bayonet in their gut biggrin:
