What Was Your First Computer Game?
no iam not talking minesweeper and solitare, i mean game such as Hertic or Shadow Warrior etc..
My first computer game was Duke Nukem 3d....hours and hours of co-op 56k modem games..ahh good times |
For the Amiga 500, Monkey Island 1. The very first game I played was a demo though, I think it was Lemmings. Don't remember what the very first game I ever played was kus it was on my friends computer.
|
Maniac Mansion on my Tandy
|
The first computer game I enjoyed playing was Wolfpack. It's a submarine game that I played on my first real computer (286 12Mhz 20 Mhd green screen monitor). Next I got a 386dx40 with a 40 Mhd and EVG monitor and I downloaded the first Wolfinstine. I could only download half the game the first day as the BBS had limmits to how much you could dl. I wore that keyboard out. Next DOOM hit and I went a little crazy.
Now I have 3 computers I play on (1 server and 2 players) with a 4th I could play on but don't. Come over and check it out @ 65.26.83.215:12203 |

I think I got you all beaten (except maybe one or two) on oldest game played on oldest system:
"Punchy" on the Commodore 16 (16, not 64 heh). It's a left-right platformer (one of the first ever on home computers) where you run across the ramparts of a castle and you have to jump the gaps and avoid archers and so on. Z and X to move and the Commodore key to jump, lol. It came with the computer. I must have been no older than 7-8 (so that's around 1985). Ahh the days. |
age of empires. any games older than a 166. pentium were to weak compared to a game counsel, imo. the 1st game i ever played was adventure on the Atari 2600.
