I take it this is realism?
|
nope, its not realism
|
Animal, are you the same person that plays on the Area51 CKR server from time to time?
|
Well, bitching about MGs isn't much better than saying rifles are for pussies, then. If you can't beat someone with a Mauser or Garand because they are using an MG then you're not that great with the rifles.
Being a great rifleman means that you don't just beat other rifle users. I suppose it's funny in a way though. You don't expect to see a clan member saying "pussy rifles" in a tryout for their clan. It's not exactly a good advertisement. |
why would u use either a bar or a rifle in a tryout? i cant remember the last time i saw one of those in a match.. i mean yah if people are fooling around.. but its shotguns, rockets, snipers, maybe smgs. thats what u tryout on! biggrin:
|
OK, i dont have a problem with MG's without realism, But WITH realism they are gay fags that are well, just gay whore fag retard slut whacker weapons. On ralism the should have an mg limit like only 2 people on a team can have them or somethin like that, that would be tight. and rifles on realism is what should be used, theres nothing wrong with rifles cause that was the main weapon used and shit.

It was kinda a joke he called a guy A BAR WHORE when they came in and 2 seconds later he had one

the bar rules ..but i think realisum shold make it a little more realistic ..Big Ass Recoial ..the bar fires a .308 cal round (same round used the the springfieald model 1903) and hits like a truck ..but fire more than 40 or 50 rounds through it to fast and the barrel heats up and you cant hit squat ..
how do i know this you ask ..it helps to own one ;) the thompson ..now thats a mans gun .....45 cal pistol rounds ..at 50 feet your gona drop someone with 1 shot ..at 50 yards you will be lucky to hit them ... the mouser 7mm (aka Kar-98) good gun if your trying to shoot doun a bi-plane ..remember these guns were made for world war 1 ..and thay were great guns ..but had a big problem with chambering .. winchester model 1895 trenchbroom ...should i say more ..this gun isent made to be a sniper rifle ...its made for clearing trenches ..and did its job very well .. now im just telling you what the REAL guns are like ..and if you want true realisum ..someone neads to check the guns out and make a mod that works like the REAL guns ... but being a gun colector ..i would think that Flagg |

The BAR and M1903 fired .30-06 cartridges, it was the standard america rifle caliber. how do i know this you ask ..it helps to own one ;) You own shit. the thompson ..now thats a mans gun .....45 cal pistol rounds ..at 50 feet your gona drop someone with 1 shot ..at 50 yards you will be lucky to hit them ... Again, you're talking out of your ass. the mouser 7mm (aka Kar-98) good gun if your trying to shoot doun a bi-plane ..remember these guns were made for world war 1 ..and thay were great guns ..but had a big problem with chambering .. The Mauser Karabiner 98kurtz fired 7.92mm shells. I happen to own one and I've never had problems with chambering a round, and the bloody thing is over 60 years old. winchester model 1895 trenchbroom ...should i say more ..this gun isent made to be a sniper rifle ...its made for clearing trenches ..and did its job very well .. The Trench broom was the Thompson's nickname, and I think you're trying to refer to the Winchester M-12 trenchgun. now im just telling you what the REAL guns are like ..and if you want true realisum ..someone neads to check the guns out and make a mod that works like the REAL guns ... You know shit. but being a gun colector ..i would think that BB guns do not count. Flagg[/quote:00538] Thank you for giving me a laugh, that is by far the most falsified post I've heard in awhile. |
and what part would be false dear frenchy ..if you care to dispute my knolage on the subject ..go to our web page ..click on the link to our yahoo groop ...in photos there are sevral pics ..one with my model 1903 springfieald ...a goon one of my bar ..(non working as mg ..only fires semi auto ) ..and a great one of my mouser 7mm ..the pic of the thompson is one belonging to a friend who has a FFP ..he also owns a great ppsh (burp gun)
now if thay wanted a great rifle in the game ..thay would throw in the 6.5 carcana .. or maby being french ..you would like the labell 8mm ...but being the firearms expert thay you are ..you would know that gun was made by ....none other than Browning fire arms ... Flagg |
Sry flag, but the BAR IS a 30.06, the mauser IS 7.92, and the tommy WAS called the trench broom or trench sweeper, at least in reference to wwii. And the last place I am going to find reference material is your site, which no one is going to bother looking at because you can't be bothered to post a link, and even then you have to register to receive spam to view it.
Once again your grasp on the facts is as sloppy as your typing. Thanks for playing. |
the bar ..and springfieald model 03 both chamber a 7.62x55 mm cartrige ...
and for this im cuting and pasteing from a firearms doc Did You Know? In World War I, the Winchester Model 1897 quickly became known as the trench broom, for it's ability to clear the trenches of opponents and sweep the skies of grenades. Using buckshot loads, US soldiers could deflect enemy hand grenades hurled through the air. .................................................. .................................................. ..... and as for the 7mm mouser ..it fires a 7.92 mm round ..but was made for ww1 ..and had chambering problems .. Flagg Operation Air cooled, gas operated, magazine fed, shoulder type M1918A1 selective fire (fully and semi-automatic) M1918A2 fully automatic Caliber .30 (7.62 mm) Muzzle velocity 853.4 mps (2800 fps) Capacity 20-round detachable box magazine (1) Bandoleer (BAR belt): 12 magazines (2) Magazine changeable in 2-4 seconds (but averaged 6-8 seconds in combat) Weight 8.33 kg (18.5 lbs) Overall length 119.4 cm (47 in.) Rate of fire 550 rounds per minute Effective range 550m (600 yds) Ammunition (1) Ball M2; 150 gr bullet, 50 gr charge (2) Tracer M25, M1: for designating targets and signalling (3) Armor piercing M2 (black tip); 165gr/53gr (4) Armor piercing incendiary: for lightly armored flammable targets god i love bar's! |

Caliber .30 (7.62 mm) [/quote:87f84] Please refer to your own documentation - the BAR was a .30 caliber, in the 06 variety. 7.62 = .30 .308 is neither a .30 or 7.62. You can get M1s in .308, but not WWII vintage ones. Which gun you would like to call the trench broom/sweeper really depends on what war you are referring to, as stated above. And please quit referring to the mauser as a rodent gun. Heh. |
If u want realism there would be not more than 3 tommys per group 1 bar and the rest riflemens. n world war II u had to earn a tommy
BAR was mostly used back and would just give cover (Unless by the 30 cal) And the bar has too low recoil its to easy to use |

Complaining about MGs in realism is like complaining about rockets in a stock game. Deal with it or find a way to kill them first.

The M1897 was phased out in the late 20's and was replaced by the Windchester M-12. The M1897 was an extreme rarity in ww2. It's commercial name is the 8mm Mauser, round off you cocksucker. Spell the fucking name right too. The BAR was a piece of shit. The reason it wasn't phased out after WW1 was because the war dept. simply didn't have anything better to use as a squad based support weapon. It was too light to be classified as an LMG and too heavy to be classified as an assault rifle. Which in turn meant that sustained fire from the BAR would be nearly impossible due to the light barrel and frame. It would lose its bearing after the first shot. Another bad thing about the BAR was the 20 round box magazine, which meant that the operator would have to reload frequently putting the firer in unessesary harm. I'd much rather march into battle with a DP28, Bren, ZB26, Type 99, Hotchkiss and/or MG34. |

Good for you Flagg, I hope you feel good about yourself. You know, for a man of your stature you would at least learn to spell PHYSICS right. Fuck, you're so full of it.

Fuck, I'm gonna leave this thread open so that the true gun nuts can prove your errors.

Die. ------------------------------------------ .30-06 = 7.62x63mm .308 = 7.62x51mm A slight difference. Also, stop saying .30 when you're talking about .308 or .30-06. There's a huge difference in that Department too. .30 Carbine was a piece of shit round, only issued for a cheap replacement of the 1911, the M1 Shitbine. |

Heh, no, just correcting the errors you spread so liberally around this site. True "realisum"? You truly are speaking out your ass now. I play video games for good game play, I could care less about realism to the little details. The weapons need balance in the game, not true "realisum". Ferich - .30-06 and the .308 are both .30 projectiles, the difference is in the size of the casing. |
The .30 has the same Diameter as the .308 and .30-06, yes. I don't see what you're trying to prove.
They're still two different rounds, that never should be confused. Diameter ( Width ) does not manifest the projecticles being the same size. Maybe going by width, yes, but not by length. |
Caliber is the diameter of the projectile.
But dont just take my word for it: Click here[/url:6753a] |

So, we both agree. But the .30 Carbine round, in generic form is called the .30. |
