Since Ydiss brought up the subject of a cheat last week, I might as well post something that I found on MPC this morning. This post is regarding a member we have on these forums. Clinthill98.

Browsing through MPC forum, I find a post about a little script he made. It looked harmless, until it involved cheats. Mind you, nothing serious, but hey, the point is to bring this out into the open am I correct?

I won't give the url or what cheat CVARS he typed in here, but if you need it, I can provide it. Here is a copy of his script readme.txt file. As I said, nothing major, but enough to see that he is trying to harm this game. Read on :

Simple. The point is to expose cheats correct? Well, I am bringing forth an AA.com members who is releasing these types of things on MPC. As Ydiss showed those clips of the wallhacker, I am displaying the readme.txt file to this guy's script. It of course isn't as major as the wallhack deal, but is still a nuisance nonetheless.

dude does that show tracers for every gun? that would be hella kool to try for a while, is there a mod for that or can i just put that command in console and it will do that?

It simulate tracers on the bullets. But it is serversided only.

Which side of the fence are you on today? First mods and a/c, then made hacks, then more mods and a/c, then back to hacks, flamed by cookie on PM in some IRC chat, prior to that you and your buddy Dark Magician come onto my Server as |AM|KrautCake (you) and DarkMagician (him, he also changed to foxhoundsniper or some name close to that)...specing you it was obvious you were using a hack of some sort..|AM| stands for Anti-MOH I have read and while I was trying to ban u guys my server got crashed...hmmm....so I am really curious...which side of the fence are you on now? Come on you are a smart dude who knows tons about the program and the ins and outs...we need you to pick a side and stay on it...you control your destiny...do you wanna be remembered as someone who helped the MOHAA Community or hurt it...or both?

Trust takes a long time to earn and can be broken in an instant...get my drift?

ummm...no I want an explanation from you Mike, and if you are not man enough to give one then I suppose that will suffice as an excuse, but I feel like you owe the community a fair explanaiton of which side the fence you are on now...

We all know MPowell has designed cheats and has worked against them. Both communities are mutually dependant in what they do and both fairly stuck up their own arses enough to blur right from wrong into a mess of "who cares".

If EA actually used a system similar to Valve's WonID and VAC combined to ban players who break rules then I'm sure cheaters wouldn't be so blassé in MOH:AA.

As it stands you, me, Mpowell and his mother can cheat without repremand and without seriously hurting anyone in the process.

The fact remains that Anti-Cheat and Cheat sites just play off eachother because none of them enjoy MOH:AA that much anymore and feel that somehow spending all their time creating/preventing cheats is a good way to live.

The actuall difference between each group is pure semantics. It's all pretty sad whatever side of this fence you are.

Agreed Ydiss that was a very nice explanation, I see Mike just wasn't willing to step up to the plate and provide an explanation of his own must be his lack of fortitude...my last post on this subject and YDiss you are right it is a sad state of affairs...hope COD gets here soon

Likewise. Once CoD is released, I am going to leave MOH. Hopefully modding CoD will be more fun that MOH modding is.

I hope the cheating in CoD won't be as rampant as MOHAA.

Call of Duty will ship with PunkBuster. I am sure that the cheats won't be anything like MOH with that running on a server.

Thats a big plus to buy it.
