Anyone who feels the need to say things like this before leaving will not be missed at any rate.
Only one thing contributed to the decline of this site and that is its owner. Only one person contributed directly to what has happened here this past week, and he is no longer even a member. I tell you what it has done. It hasn't ruined the forums, it hasn't dragged them into the gutter and it hasn't forced people to leave. The actual state of the forums has not changed at all, only now there are a few people in control who wish to make a difference. It's weeded out those who didn't give a shit about the forum anyway and it's given those who do care about it some power to do something about it. So, leave if you feel some mortal need to do so. But, don't fucking bother telling us about it. You just come across as attention whores and if there's anything sadder than someone hacking a forum online then it's someone getting all melodramatic about it and having a hissy fit. I'm personally very indifferent to this whole thing, but some of the comments I've seen from members here has made me wonder what planet they think they live on. |
