Cant make a single thread without some "respectable" member hoping in and flaming it to holy hell. Outstanding work. I'd just like to point out that in the last couple of days this site has been visited by REGULARS and noone new.

But whatever. It's not our site. So anything to the contrary makes US wrong, and of course anyone agreeing with the head honcho (who I dont believe is a bad person at all, just has some questionable folks at his side) is right.

Just a joke that a thread in jest and fun and irreverence (TWO!) was turned into a pile of crap. Great Job.

I know I was looking forward to having at least ONE person on the mod team who could be trusted to make the RIGHT decision regarding things, and who isn't being pulled between two sites.

Being a mod here is like being in the CIA, ED. Like Pacino said in "The Recruit", "Our failures are known, our successes are not".

ED, in Zoner's defence, he fully supported the ideas I had - It's pointless that I go over them now but perhaps Zoner, BJ, Solidus and RD (Is BW still about?) will still use them?

We'll see. One of my suggestions was to not ban anyone but that's been taken out of my hands.

Zoner is a good guy. His heart is in the right place, I just think that considering the circumstances he had no support whatsoever when he was mod.

I'd like to think I'd have given him that support - Who knows in 2 months time perhaps you'd be flaming me too? I don't know, but I do know that Zoner is totally willing to set things up here the way that you want - but still maintain some kind of consistency to the warning and banning system.

Anyway, water under the bridge now - Thanks anyway, Zoner. It's not like I'm going anywhere, for now - I just refuse to mod here. What's the point?

Then look at Bazooka Joe's "acomplishments". Near as I can tell whether its watching the aa.com server, or modding here, it's all come about not with the support of the community, but by the influence of Rudedog.

As far as you are concerned Zoner, I think the modding just got to a point where people kept on scratching their heads simply wonderng what the hell happened. I think at a point on you suffered from "Noctitis" - and I think we all remember his first couple of days in charge.

ED has a point, Blitz. I've never really had any reason to gripe with you but in the last few weeks you've been taking liberties with there being no mods and you constantly express grudges against one particular member.

That gets old very fast. Arkan, Gerard, BJ and a few others have had very heated discussions with me in the past and you don't see me critising every post they make like a child on a hyper-rush.

Granted, ED has grudges (he ain't the only one) and he responds to those with alarming frequency, but he does try to make his posts thoughtful, whilst some of yours are just "stfu noob" which is something this site is infamous for and one thing I would love to see stamped out.

That doesn't mean "I'd like you banned" it just means I'm pointing something out about you that I, for one person, would prefer you didn't do.

Do the same to me and you'll be surprised at my reaction, depending on what it is you complain about.

However, to complain that someone used caps (particularly when the post only has 3 words capitalised) is hard to understand, for me. My suggestion is to think about something before you complain about it - does it bother you enough that it is worth posting publically about?

Gerard had his moments of complete flames and should have been banned about a year ago. strikor, tripper, and Ed need a permanent ban. imo. Ed cant take the fact he never made mod, and if he did he would ban any one who did not agree with him. Ed wants the power but cant have it and it burns him bad. thats why he flames all mods. There's a reason for that.

Nothing against Gerard, Tripper, WR, Strikor and the others who were banned, I will always stand up for them because I honestly believe they should have been able to at least give the new mods a chance. I'll stick by that no matter what.

But ED has acted differently to them in many respects, in ways that people such as yourself have been unable to see because you take him too seriously.
