I wrote the tweak guide but that's ok http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/smile.gif

Your graphics card has a huge impact on the game's performance. With a Geforce 3, 95% of your performance problems will be long gone.

I have a Geforce GTS 2 Pro teamed with a 900mhz Athlon Tbird, and the game runs smooth as hell at 1280 x 1024, full detail except the terrian set to the 4th highest setting!

Well it is a pretty heavy game.
but BadScript Made a Tweak Guide here. Just read and then you just have to test what your machine can do and not do.

What OS are you using.
That card is crap, but you should be able to get something.

Although, you do say in your post that the card is not supported

Patton 01-21-2002 07:37 AM

Athlon 1.4ghz
512 DDR
GeForce3 Ti200 Running the 22.80 drivers
Soundblaster Live!
Windows XP Professional

For some reason in the SP demo I drop down into the 20-25 FPS range when alot of things are happening on-screen. I have tested this with both the settings all the way up at 800x600x32 and all the way down at 800x600x16.

I think it just might be my shitty hard drive trying to load something that isn't there. Its a 5400rpm drive. Either that or its my front side bus - 133, the max the chipset supports. I'm getting a new mobo to relieve that though.

I guess I'll see how it runs tomorrow when I get the game (or weds barring unforeseen bad things.)

HotRodX36 01-21-2002 10:24 AM

Can somebody please help me out-i have a Diamond III Stealth (Savage4) 16mb, and it says on the readme that the game does not support it, but i can't even get to the main menu. I have a burned copy of MOHAA and when i double click the cracked .exe the little black box pops up, says "intializing" and then game goes to a grey screen like its going to start, then it brings me back to a warped desktop, anyone have any ideas? (i updated all my drivers too)

My computer isn't that great, but it should at least boot up:
AMD ANTHLON 700mhz
Diamond III (Savage4)
256 PC133 SD RAM

LordPhobos 01-28-2002 12:51 AM

Here's my system specs, for reference:

AMD Duron 750mhz
GeForce 3 Ti200
256mb of PC133 RAM
Linksys 10/100 NIC on a 100mb/s LAN

Here's my problem. This happens on the demo as well as the full game. I go to play a LAN game against someone, and the first time we try it it works fine. But if we go back to play again later neither computer can find the server that the other runs. I've tried starting both computers as the server computer, but no luck. The only way I can get it to work again is to restart both computers.

Any ideas? It's a real pain in the ass, so any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Vallie 01-28-2002 01:21 AM

Pentium 4, 1.3 GHz
386 MB of Ram
Hercules 3D Prophet 400XT 64MB Video Card
Sound Blaster Live MP3+ 5.1 Sound Card
40GB HDD and 56 spin CD-Rom drive.
Running under Windows 98 Second Edition.

My problem is the grey screen, I've tried everything to get passed it. When I load up the game, the grey screen appears, then comes around a black screen. The mouse pointer is visible, and I can move it around, but from there I have to reboot. The startup console reads something like "Couldn't execute..." but it scrolls by too fast for me to read it.

p3 600mhz
64mb geforce2 ti(overclocked)
20gig hd
windows 98 se
aureal vortex
128mb ram
game runs pretty good. I get 20-30fps in most single player maps (lower in omaha) and about an average of 30fps in multiplayer games. Getting another 128mb ram should boost up performance a little
