Night Vision or scope to help with the fog
 

Ive been playing on some servers using a lot of fog here lately.
Which is ok but, when I use my sniper rifle I cant see very far. But seems like others can. Getting snipe left and right. Also 1 map named project X I believe, where is really dark and when I wse sniper rifle I cant see very far in front of me. but seems to me others can. Still getting sniped bad.
Anyone have any clues.

u can take off fog by editing .scr and download a night vision scope if u want.....

Yeah I know why the can snipe you easy as pie.....cause they have a No Fog hack and/or cham skins.....if you want some go get em,

I dunno where to get the Nightvision scope at, but you wont need it really....cause if you get the Chameleon skins, you will be able to see the people thru fog, behind walls, etc.

Is cheating supposed to be disrespected? Cause of what you said by cheating not being allowed in a respectable community......just hope no one looks down on cheating....it is a very honorable and very skillfull achievement to make hacks.

I know it takes skill to make cheats and hacks, but I do not respect the work done.

You can use those things on your own server all you want...but when it leaks to where I play, I get pissed off.

I'm sure you'll find that cheating is looked down upon by the majority of online gamers.

Why cant mohaa be like dod where when its dark you can flip out a tourch(even thow it doesnt go far but still!)

Why do you think there're apps like PunkBuster, Delator, and Pandora?

Fair play is the only way to play, in my opinion. I really don't see the fun in being able to see through walls or see like Predator in a WWII game.

I have a feeling that if you think that cheating is more widely accepted by the mainstream gaming community than fair play, you've been sadly misled.

Hey snipe I thought the anti cheat stuff they use on the servers was suppose to find all the cheats.

There's only 2 things I use that didn't come with the game and that is a blood mod and a dot scope.

I have heard your discussion, Zoner, by tons of AntiCheaters......but it just doesn't work....sorry.

If a person is allowed to use a custom scope/skin/hud/anything, then I should be allowed to play with hacks....sorry.

And yes they were SUPPOSED to catch them, but dude, hackers get around it within minutes of the program's release.

P.S. If I cant play a game the way I want to and I spent MY MONEY on it, then there is something wrong here, the way I see it, anticheats are illegal in a sense. Not right to be able to restrict me on what I PAID for, considering the fact that they take all of these screenshots and that takes up space on my HDD and They are doing more harm to me than I am to them, at least I am not scanning their computer...thats some BULLS*IT.

You wanted to know the resemblance? Fine, it is the fact that you can modify the game the way you want it so that you will have the most fun playing it...right? Well in doing so you make yourself feel comfortable therefore raising your skill/speed. Think about it. If you are playing on your computer at home and you have it set up how you like to play, with skins and City Nights and all that, then when you go to a friends house and play on their stock game, it is alot different and no fun, therefore you will not do as well. Think about the scopes too, if you got a stock scope, your aim sucks, if you have a custom dot scope, your aim will improve, why else would you have gotten it?

I think Zoner said it best when he spoke of your server or where he is playing. Your claim of the legality of anti-cheats is not even close to right. Most servers you play on, are being payed for by the individuals who run it. Most also cost in excess of $100/month, which is a hefty sum to pay so other people can enjoy this game. The way I see it, you can have your game like you want it on your own server sure, but when you go into someone elses they have the right, nay the privilage of affecting any changes they see fit on the way your game is setup. Isnt this why Cookie started the hackers alliance server I keep hearing about anyways? So that Hackers had a place to play without being harassed by non cheaters.

I myself play clean, and do not condone cheating because it gives an unfair advantage. Your argument reminds me of a guy who got caught cheating on an exam at my college. He had written the answers to some key questions on his arm and was wearing a long sleeve shirt. When he needed an answer he would roll his sleeve up momentarily and get his knowledge. When he was caught he was actually brazen enough to say "Its my arm, you can't do anything to him for writing on it". Needless to say he was expelled.

MPC has like tens of thousands of posts, all of which *cough* are regulated *cough* so most are instructional, and aa and other forums have how many? but IMO most people that dont cheat do so becuase they either dont know about them, or are afraid to be caught.

Yo Deleto I hear what you are saying about the server costs, however thats does not give me a reason as to why they can control me when I cant? If someone f*cks with me I am gonna f*ck back. I dont do anything wrong unless I am treated with disrespect and I am not given fair play. I understand what you are saying about the server costs, I have my own server and I only pay $30 a month. I dont really care about the cost, what I care about is, there should....no there HAS to be a disclaimer on the server name saying that they will SCAN my f*cking computer and take whatever kind of screenshots they want. That way I do not go into a server ready to OWN and there is some faggot admin taking screenshots of my game and that takes up space on my computer. If you want to run these things, you better say so first, I did not see in the, Terms of Agreement, that when I install Medal Of Honor that I am subject to scans and file creation on my computer. It is like the democracy we have now in America.....you have your own rights, so long as you do not mess with anyone else's then we are kewl. My cheat skins do not conflict with your server/pc/etc. at anytime....however when a screenshot is take by the server scanner, my pc is messed with, thats going from your rights and crossing onto mine. DOnt mess with me and I wont mess with you. I have modded my game in a way that will help my kill/death ratio. Most everyone else has done the same, just maybe not using hacks but they use some sort of customization.

I do agree with you there, man. I like Forced Screenshots as much as I like wallhacks...and that isn't very much.

Where I play (AAN), cheaters are caught with Delator and booted automatically. That's all. Forced screenies is just a bad idea.

Your hacks are taking that away from us. I do agree with you and Zoner about the screenies. We don't bother taking them... what's the point. If i force a SS on you and it catches you using a wallhack, why the HELL would you send it in to me? So we figure why bother wasting our time and force SS's on people. This is a long drawn out fight that's been going on since the 1st neon skins showed up and it will never find a winner. All the hacks/cheats for MOH will NEVER go away, i don't care what scanner, autokick or client/server anticheat people run, it's just a fact that we're gonna have to deal with.

So the only way to get a good score is to see through walls and have Green and Red people running around so you can see them better? I have respect for the time and effort of the people who make the cheats/hacks and also they make some pretty good scripts, i have seen a headshot/kill/death counter out there for mohaa and i was impressed. But to come into a server, where there are non-cheaters/hackers, where there is CI fully running, and try to beat the system, and see through walls when no-one else in the server can, that's when Modding 2 the extreme goes to far. It does not make it far for others, it does not level the playing field in any sense. In our server you can have custom guns, scopes, and some player models. I do play more comfortable with diffrent scopes i admit that, but i switch to stock because that's how the game was made, that's how the creators of the game designed it to be played.

On another point, the whole don't mess with me i won't mess with you, don't come on a cheat free server and worry about people forcing SS's on you....you just stay on your server or whatever servers that don't run pandora,Ci, etc. and you will have no problems about this. Correct?

I personally hate cheating, I don't tolerate it in any way, but you do bring some valid points up. I think that sure, you should be able to hack or cheat on your single player, which you payed for, but on servers that other people are paying large sums of money for so that people can play against people and have fun! Seeing through a wall etc. is NOT fun, and is what, in my opinion, ruined MoH:AA for me. I do definately agree though, that making hacks, and bypassing anti-cheats is modding, to the max. It takes some real skill and knowledge, and I respect that! I just don't think that they are being used in the best faction.
One thing that would be great is if all the great hackers were to make some kind of total conversion; I guarantee you that it would be the best one yet, because hackers know the game's code better than anybody else!
