Thats right ladies im back and im now a United states Marine w00t!

Its been fucking ages since ive used a computer, im typing like a 5 year old school girl right now. So hows everything been here, is everyone still around from back 3 months ago?

Bootcamp was hell but it was fun as shit, anyway im gonna go into irc, ill see you in there.

I qualed with the M16, i shot a 215 which is sharpshooter, 500 yards is the farthest we shot, it was easy. I actually gained 10 lbs from muscle at bootcamp. Overall it was pretty easy, its mostly mentally chalenging. They fuck with your head really bad. But god damn it was good stuff. The night firing was sick, it looked like starwars out there with everyone shooting tracer rounds.

What type of details you want? Bootcamp is lke 40% physical and 60% mental, they fuck with your mind really really really good. Overall i enjoyed the experience. The drill instructors are funny as fuck. The M16 has no recoil and it gets to be a pain in the ass carrying it everywhere, when it came time to turn it in i wanted to throw it back at the fucking armorer, i was so happy lol. But it was awesome.

Some funny things the DI's said.

The DI loved to say "what if i walked over there and ripped out your soul through your fucking rib cage"

And one funny ass thing was, we were crossing a street (my platoon) and we posted road guards, and there was a blue sticker on this cars windshield which = officer. So the road guard brings up a salute to the car. Well my senior drill instructor goes "paige what are you saluting?" and he goes "officers car sir!" and the SDI says "...theres nobody in it dumb ass, you dont salute an empty car" lol i was fucking lmao.

BLitz, look at his sig, I think that's what he's in.

I dont even know you because i just joined aa.com, but my cousin is dead set on joining the marines......hes flunking as a junior (idiot!). but he will def. make a great marine. Hes fucking huge! (as in muscular). I dont inted on joining the military but marines is what i would pick.

Whats some of the requirements you need for the Marines as far as physical tests.

Im in the 4th Marine division, 4th Battalion, 4th LAR. But i wont be joining the 4th LAR until i finish LAV school and infantry school (where we fire everything the marine corp owns).

Physically the initial strength test (the test you take when you first get there to make sure your in shape is 1.5 miles in 13 minutes, 40 or 50 something crunches in 2 minutes and than minimum of 2 pull ups.

The final strength test you take 3 weeks prior to the end of bootcamp and you have to take a final stregth test every 6 months, those requirements are 3 pull ups (minimum), 66 crunches (minimum) and 3 miles in 28 minutes (minimum) Try your hardest becauuse if you do the minimum or like half decent you wont be promoted as quickly as if someone else has a higher PFT (physical fitness test) score. I did 100 crunches, 14 pull ups, and a 19:30 3 mile. Yes you can get in with glasses, and you have to ask a recruiter about the allergy thing.

Ill be doing army after undergraduate and hopefully airborne. Im doing ROTC in college then ill be promoted right to a Lt. U should have taken some pics of u and ur squad or u beating the crap out of the fat guy in the platoon with socks filled with bars of soap. mwah:
