As fun as shotguns may be, they display almost 0 skill in a player most of the time. To be honest i think both teams are great, ofcourse they both have disadvantages. I prefer the allies, but i also enjoy using the axis rifles.

anyone who thinks shotties are n00bs sleeping:

i can own with shottie, sniper, m1, mauser.. you name it. does that make me a n00b for using a shottie?

No, i don't have anything against shotties. Infact i use them rarely too, i just prefer that in a battle of pure skill that a player must use a harder weapon to show that he/she is better than the opponent. comegetsome:

i go for the loosing team (most deaths + least kills), but since im kinda a n00b, it doesn't really matter

i guess my favorite weapon would be the axis mg, rifle, sniper and the rifle type thing that can shoot grenades, but the allies have a better smg's and skins cool:

maybe in a clan,
but most people on public servers are n00bs, I've killed them with la pistola, and have seen others do it regularly.

sure you can get good with a shotgun, but most kiddies just pick them because it's easier. At least that's my impression from when I was clanless and bounced around public servers.


PS. I usually join allies on SH and BT (good bolt-rifles)
and axis on MOHAA (only bolt rifle)

I'd rather be on the same team as my clan, or who's on ts.

But I use autoselect to make it fair.

And I read something about shot guns.

I think they do need skill to use affectively. If you can mauser great, you can shotty great, usually. Though they are almost completely opposite, with accuracy and range, they are the same with that you must shoot 1 at a time, and be able to maneuver away from enemy fire. I say there can be skill involved.

I think what Animal Mother means is that people who use only shoti's are n00b's, in which i agree. A person who uses a shoti, but is good with other weapons, is not a n00b.

Let's put it this way, i agree with whoever said that using a shotgun STRICTLY is a noob, but i use EVERY gun, they all are very fun and they require skill for certain aspects in a fight. But what i was trying to say is that it takes 0 skill to sit behind a corner in a small room with a shottie and wait for some poor sob to get shot in the back. I ain't no "n00b" and if anyone disagrees, i'll be happy to go one on one. It doesn't matter what guns we use, i know how to use'm all.
